How many do you think exist that would actually help and are they willing to come work under Napier. Its not like theres an oc store and he gets to pick his pricepoint of success. We never hear much until deals are done with olayers and coaches. Napier doesnt do his business on social media often. He may be looking and not see someone like Bobo as an asset.
The qb is tge most important factor in any offense. There sre not many deviations from there. Good qbs win and bad qbs lose. Did the nfle playoofs have a collection of tge best ocs in tge world or best qbs?
That holds true for Mullen as he gave up and waited for his check. Theres been zero sign of Napier caving, zero.
Napier seems to be a paradox of humility and pride all rolled into one. Dude is super nice and humble. At the same time, he's going to do whatever he wants because, that's what he wants. The goal of the Gator community is to have a championship winning football program again. His goal seems to be building a championship winning football program....his way. Would love for those two goals to align. However, if they don't nobody can do anything about it because they have no leverage on him. He's got a lifetime of money to fall back on if they try to get rid of him, so he really doesn't have to answer to anybody.
It's both, obviously. I dislike the notion that with a mediocre OC but a potentially great QB a team will be better than most. Bama won at least two NCs with game manager QBs.
Yep. Why would you not want both? It reads like a silly argument to sidetrack from reality. Napier's offense lags and he refuses to hire an OC. There's not a way to put a positive spin on that. It is what it is.
And Brady, Moreno, Elway. Montana, etc im not sure who the long list of ocs would be, but it didnt effect the offense nearly as much as who was playing qb.
What was our offense ranked with a true freshman who clearly has a long way to go ranked as compared to Mertz?
