I don’t know where everyone’s getting the two million figure from. Are you adding vaccine deaths ?

I don't think anyone knows the exact figure. It was a lot of Americans who would be alive today if wasn't for lies and criminally incompetent leadership. Which has simply been brushed aside and forgotten. We should always remember, "I haven't done anything wrong."

I know I’m going to regret asking this, but is this a serious post?

the highlighted words are significant. note that it conflicts with the dna testing that has been done at the labs on the earliest known samples and animals at the wet market

while acknowledging that the spy agency has “low confidence” in its own conclusion.

Of course the biggest lie (the only one sufficient to kill multitudes via the effects of panic and despair) was the spectre of a pathogen that combined the worst aspects of Andromeda Strain and Ebola.

You believe this virus came from a wet market? Still? ok.

I lost family and friends due to Covid.

I have 2 family members in the medical profession who watched patients die because they couldn’t breathe.

Claiming there was no virus or that panic caused my family/friends death is disgraceful and disrespectful.

    I believe in science

but an agency that is stooped in conspiracy thinks it may have possibly been a lab leak, but with a low level of confidence. and that is the twig you hang onto.

im sorry to hear about that. the thought of experiencing that kind of death had this gator scared chitless. Lots of people died that just didn't need to, especially after the vaccine became available. that lack of leadership and support of misinformation caused hundreds of thousands of americans to die needlessly and hundreds of thousands of others to suffer more than they should have.

the fact that america couldn't see that djt lack of leadership and support of misinformation killed more americans than anything since WW 2 even years later and put him back into office is just another smdh moment. At least all those deaths in WW2 were for a good cause, not in support of djt fantasyland.

I guess you didn't have the pleasure of knowing anyone who was leveled by this figment of the imagination? (I know several). Or who died from it? I knew 8, maybe 10 (I forget the final tally, but I want to say 10, though I don't want to exaggerate).

...but one thing I can say, is that if it were, as you claim, pure fiction... there would be nothing for the Chicoms to cover up.... and nothing to be uncovered for failing to cover it up.

Alas, there was plenty of both--which is why we were sold that laughable crock of shit about the magic bat shitting on that wet market, that just happened to be situated in the backyard of the lab in which they were conducting gain of function research, for bio-weapon technology.

Guess you think the Chicoms were just covering nothing up, bc there was nothing to cover up.

Yes, I’m sure I knew that at some point. But you’re also talking about the guy who was saying two years ago that the catastrophic Russian defeat around Kyiv was an elaborate deception plan complete with abandoned dead and perfectly operational vehicles. Oh, and that the Russians would easily shoot down any F35s we sent against them. Never mind how easily Israel shredded Iran’s Russian IADS without a single friendly casualty. One of my only regrets about ignoring that guy is I never got to read his bullshit excuses about how Iran let Israel do it on purpose or how Israel faked the BDA or whatever. But I’m sure it was entertaining.

And I'll bet you didn't know (and maybe he doesn't either) that the defeat of Hitler's invasion of Russia was just a Nazi ruse to make the Allies overconfident.

I used to issue at least a cursory “sorry for your loss” but over time turned myself into my own no-gaslighting zone.

That your departed loved ones did not die of Rock Star Virus doesn’t make their deaths any less significant. So don’t disgrace their memories.

It’s easy to lose 8 to 10 friends, to Covid, when you can barely die in a car crash without being classified a Covid death.

My personal favorite Covid death was the 35 year old roofer …

Our holded-up friend here has only pretended to ignore me. Either that or he begged his above-ground friends to tell me what he was saying. Now he can no longer contain himself and boils over with … compelling arguments for the existence of viruses ?
