Interesting that Kugel has bounced in and out of the starting lineup at MSst. He's gotten anywhere from 0 to 30min in games. Don't know if an injury factored in. St, though, has wins over ranked Pitt, Memphis, and Miss. They will be tough when we play in Starkville Feb 11.
Texas beat Missouri last night by 8 in Austin. Did us a favor, dropping Mizzou to 4-2 in the conference.
— Grill was 1-6 and only made 1 3 pointer. Scored 6 points. That guy plays lights out against us and goes back to being average against Texas. Figures.
In both our losses, the key seemed to be that we didn't pay proper attention to the best 3-point shooters in the first 10 minutes. They started knocking them down and then they were in a zone from then on.
Aggies win at ole Miss 63-62 on last second 3pointer after Rebs missed free throw. Both teams 4-2 in sec. Hogs just got their first sec win 68-65 over Georgia. Both ole Miss and Georgia led most of the way. Gotta bring it for 40.
Weird that today's A&M game at TX is on ESPN3 . I would think there is some interest in that matchup. In other news, HUGE game tonight at 8:30 on ESPN w #6 TN at #1 Auburn. I'll be setting the DVR for that one.
MSU up 14 on SC midway through 2nd half, then end up in overtime. Up 2 with 35 seconds left. No easy games at USC. Hope it ends before ours starts.
Another interesting matchup at 6:30pm w #7 Houston traveling to #12 Kansas. Houston held Utah to 36pts in its last game.
and TX, after being down 43-25 at the half, flipped the script in the 2nd, winning 70-69 against the Aggies. Probably an exciting finish that few people got to see since it was on ESPN3.
UK 3-3 now SC loses another heartbreaker at home in OT. They might be the best 0-7 SEC team of all time. A solid team that just can't get a win
