I think the biggest stat of the night is we don't win this game without Will Richard on the floor. He seemed to decide just in time that he didn't want to travel back to Gainesville with another loss. He reminded me of Corey Brewer for a little bit.
It just felt like one of those nights. There was hardly a moment in the 2nd half i thought we’d win. I was literally laughing at that banked 3. I wasn’t upset or thinking we were “out” of it either, just felt like SC just kept answering our runs to push the lead back to double digits or getting lucky bounces (capped off with that banked 3 as their lucky answer to our press). Crazy ass finish. Definitely feels we stole that one, but that’s what you need on the road sometimes. That press really caused SC fits.
Aside from Richard, no one else played well. Everyone else was subpar. Will played great on both ends of the floor. Lucky to pull out the win.
I felt like the refs kept us in the game with Mizzou. I didn’t feel like that today. It was a good win on a game that was called fairly on both sides.
I feel like Martin played better when he started attacking 1st. He also had a lucky late shot clock 3.
