Has little to do with lib or con. Has everything to do with a technology that is Pandora’s box and who is the arbiter of ethics.

If it was gold plated, Son would manage to somehow lose money on it...

I bet 75% of the labor in the trash industry is automated in 10 years. There won't be a lot of human drivers.

I have noticed over the last several years where the local trash trucks went from 3 people, a driver and 2 on the back, to just a driver with an automated dumper arm that dumps the rolling trash can into the truck. You as a resident, have to have the trash can situated properly for it to be dumped as well.

Yep. And that driver is gonna be automated soon enough. It also saves a ton in workers comp.

There are some routes that may forever require a guy on the back, but it's mostly going to go automated. And you better believe WM is gonna pocket the savings from labor. For anyone who wants to invest in a stock that forever slowly rises, go look at the 5 and 10 year graph of WM.

WM is a great stock, I have some that I plan to hold into retirement.

I encourage everyone to throw away as much as possible.... If in doubt, throw it out! :D

I thought FTX actually went green a while back due to the rise in all the bitcoin they owned?

“Looking ahead, we are poised to return 100% of bankruptcy claim amounts plus interest for non-governmental creditors through what will be the largest and most complex bankruptcy estate asset distribution in history," he said in a statement.

When FTX declared bankruptcy in late 2022, roughly $8bn in customer funds were reported missing, not including debts to investors and others.

Mr Ray's team has since recovered assets worth $14.7-$16.5bn, in part by selling off FTX's remaining assets, such as its investment in the artificial intelligence firm Anthropic.

The deal reached with the bankruptcy court allows the firm to repay customers ahead of the other unsecured creditors such as the government.

It has drawn a mixed reception from some former customers. Some have suggested the repayment in cash will not match the loss of crypto holdings that would be worth far more today had they not been stolen.

The value of bitcoin has more than tripled since November 2022.”

There will always be some that disagree with the president no matter what because he plays for the other team.. we can as it on this page all the time. Biden could have cured cancer and some here would have poo pooed it. Trump could permanently fix the insurance issue and some will complain. It’s what people do
But for the most part every day common conservatives did not complain about true infrastructure improvement.

We're NOT paying for Stargate, ergo, not really infrastructure at all. It's simply a massive tech investment. And it's not paid for by the taxpayers like real infrastructure is.

$500 billion on this project and more to come.

By the end of the week, we're supposed to expect $7 trillion dollars of promised investment into the United States of America's economy.

I don't know why they would call it infrastructure. It's about quantum computing.

The infrastructure will be the massive power plants that we need to build to run these super cooling computer Qubits.

Nuclear power plants will be built... might need to invest in those.

Right I forgot. Righty president in office means the right wing geniuses don’t care about spending anymore. I know hypocrisy is everywhere in politics but Jesus guys have some self respect lol. And like I said I support pretty much all govt infrastructure investment.

It's private money, not taxpayer money, being spent on these quantum computer centers..

Yeah, AI is a scam, so its not shocking the griftiest president is going in on it. Literally something that will not create any jobs if successful!
