That's BS, some have Michigan with an 8-5 record ranked in the top 15 simply for beating OSU. There were several top 25 teams that we could have beaten at the end of this season.
AP had Michigan 29th with 36 votes. 26-35 Navy 55 LSU 39 Louisville 38 Michigan 36 Kansas St. 11 Marshall 8 Ohio 8 Florida 7 TCU 2 Texas A&M 1
I said "some" poll, which is not the AP, obviously... Lol. But we are still underrated in the AP poll too.
Not this one that I was referring to, but still... Michigan sucked this year, and we were playing far better towards the end of the year then they were... Final college football rankings of 2024-25 season
Uhhh, they beat the eventual nat champion late. ON THE ROAD. And the gumps who finished 17th. We beat #11 OM and #27 LSU. At home. I’d say the vast majority of CFB would say Michigan was playing better than UF.
Too many voters must have watched the UF v UM and UF v ATM games. Even the MSU game wasn't pretty even though it was a W.
They beat the eventual NC. I guess they'll be able to make bumper stickers for 2024 like our 1983 one.
Yeah, so did Ole Miss in 2008, but they were not considered great after beating the Gators in that season.
I’m not big on rankings but I can tell you this; I watched all of the college playoffs. We would have beaten more than half of them and been very, very competitive to the rest with our team since the loss to A&M. On way to beating UT and UGA until QB injuries and lost to Texas one the road with almost half of our starters injured
