No fancy hashtag or anything but anything 2026 Gators recruiting related; commits, decommits, offers, visits, top 5….post them here.
We have played freshman LBs the last 3 years and they have all looked solid. With that said and based on his comment he will pick Auburn.
Trying not to be a homer, but this guy would be terrific for us, as impactful as Bridges for us last year but higher upside in athleticism.
As I look at the Top 100 or 200 or 300 and so on, it seems to me like our target players this year are mainly in the 100 to 300 range. Meaning, we are not going after Top 100 players as much for two reasons. Many of them are not in our "funnel" schools/areas. Secondly, Top 100 players cost too much and are more risky to land. That said we still will get 1 or 2 top 100 guys when its all said and done but our focus and strength of the class will come from down the list players this year. JMHO What say you Bobby....
Not Bobby …but not really true. There is definitely interest within the top 100. But if $ is the main motivator it does handicap our position with the top 40, in particular.
I think we chase and land more than 1 or 2 top 100....but do believe the sweet spot is 100-250. Bang for the buck moneyball
$ is always top but with that part taken care of, of course theres many other factors. You dont get in tge conversation without a bag though. Id trust my kid to Napier over most coaches and programs no doubt, but youre still going to pay my kid the going rate.
Not always. DJ left money on the table during his recruitment but bought into Napier’s vision. $ is always a factor but there are some that will lean towards a staff, a school and culture that they are comfortable with.
