Inauguration Day

Trump's Second Inaugural speech was essentially a redux of his first. He painted the US as a dystopian failure that he only could and would fix. It was similar to his campaign speeches and like his campaign speeches it was chock full of lies.

 

On a brighter note...I've got the truck and SUV on empty ready to fill and grocery bags out to get those lower prices.... tomorrow.

 

Did he mention my tax break? I’m about to turn over my stuff to my accountant. Let’s get going Trump!

I’m going to miss the debates over the accuracy of employment numbers.

 

I’m going to miss the days when $3 gas was expensive and $3.50 will be considered cheap this summer.

 

Funny how you never held Biden to the same standard. The same Biden who had 4 years to make the Trump tax cuts permanent. Funny how you all actually care about efficiency now that Republicans are in charge. Such a double standard.

 

I'm going to miss people advocating for recessionary policy and economic shock doctrine to cure inflation and deficits.

 

Biden was against top tier tax cuts. Wouldn’t help me. Trump loves folks like me so I’m looking for my cut!

 

I’ve got my Trump “I did that stickers” ready to go when all this does indeed not go down, and instead goes up due to his tariffs. Can’t wait, lol. “But the price of eggzzzzz!”
