It's good that you're starting to get it. You're actually 100% correct : enacting a criminal conspiracy to deny the franchise of 10s of millions of voters through a criminal conspiracy to deny the results of an election should be absolutely unacceptable in America. Anyone who voted for a person who clearly did that is indeed complicit.
"Everyone looks stupid," Pod Save America co-host and ex-Obama aide Tommy Vietor said at the time. "Everyone looks like they are full of s---. And Republicans are going to use this to argue it was politics as usual when Democrats warned of Trump's corruption or threat to the rule or the threat to democracy."
If you hate America so much, why stay? Why not go to a Country that would obviously fit your political beliefs much better? You want socialism? Go to Canada, or Australia, or New Zealand, or Europe. Because understand this, we won and we aren't going anywhere. Your "America last" view has been defeated. And we will never let your side, those who are against America, get power again.
Such twisted mindsets from some. Decades of top tier governmental service benefitting all Americans and one pandemic in which one political party didn’t approve of its handling and he’s suddenly a criminal and equivalent to mass murderers? I’d put money on him being a better person than either of you two, and likely almost everyone on this board.
You're the one who hates America. You voted for a sexual assaulting felon who attacked our democracy by enacting a criminal conspiracy to try and overturn an election. Must feel good.
Arguably, no people earth are as adept at moving on from crimes against humanity and mass derangement as are Americans.
Trump has more patriotism in one fiber of a finger than you have in your entire body. I want an America that is prosperous. I want an America that is safe. I want an America that is fiscally sound and spends money on important things like national security and defense, and not stupid DEI programs. I want an America where Americans come first, not illegal immigrants. I want an America that has a strong economy that benefits Americans, not illegal immigrants and H1B Visa holders. I want terrorists and illegal immigrants gone. I want an America that is energy independent. I want an America that has its best days ahead of it. You want an America that is in a managed decline. You want an America that depends on OPEC for energy and oil. You want an America where Americans comes last and illegal immigrants get to stay in five star hotels while Americans are on the streets. You want deserving people to be shafted so that unqualified minorities get positions via DEI. You want DEI, I want a meritocracy. You want an America that constantly is in and starts pointless wars. You want an America that has no border. You want an America that has had its best days in the past. Honestly, I have more patriotism in one finger than you have in your entire body. You, and people like, are the true traitors to this country. You, and people like you, are almost up there with terrorists and illegal immigrants in terms of being national security threats. It was your side that attempted to Assassinate President Trump, something I will never forgive your side on. You are lucky decision aren't up to me. If it was up to me, I'd gladly import Conservatives from Europe, Central America, South America and Asia. Those who believe in this country and don't want to change it and destroy it. And in return, I would gladly deport every single Liberal in America currently. To me it would be a great trade. Honestly gator_jo, you are the traitor. Your entire side are traitors.
It sounds like you're really passionate about the direction you want America to take, and you're clearly deeply committed to your beliefs. I think there’s a lot of emotional energy here, and I want to approach this discussion with respect, because I believe we can find common ground even when we disagree strongly. That said, I don't think the kind of divisiveness you're describing is helpful. Labeling entire groups of people as "traitors" or equating them to terrorists isn't productive and only serves to deepen the divisions in our society. I get that you feel strongly about protecting the country, prioritizing national security, and ensuring that the nation thrives—those are all values I can respect. It’s important, though, to recognize that America has always been a place of debate and differing ideas. There’s room for different visions of what makes the country strong and prosperous. You want a country that's strong militarily and economically, and I respect that. But there are other ways people can define a prosperous America, including social issues like DEI, immigration reform, and ensuring all people are treated with dignity. As for Trump, I understand why you feel so strongly about him—many people do. I think it’s also worth considering that people who oppose Trump don’t see themselves as enemies of the country, but as people who want the country to move in a different direction, often for reasons they see as just as valid. I’d love to hear more about how you think we can start bridging these divides and working together to make America better for everyone, even if we don’t agree on every issue. At the end of the day, we all want the best for this country, even if our paths to get there look different.
Oh no, the guy who faked his own death and pretended to be his own mother before registering multiple times doesn't like you, jo!
gator_jo, what you are incapable of understanding. You don't even want a country. If you got what you want, the U.S. would no longer be a country. The U.S. would be a glorified economic zone. Because guess what, when you don't have a secure border, you don't have a country. That's what you want, a glorified economic zone. Well some of us actually want a country.
Biden made these people look even more criminal by issuing these pardons. I mean, why should Dr. Fauci need a pardon? What 12-person jury would find Dr. Fauci guilty? That's kind of scary. No Washington DC area 12-person jury is going to convict Anthony Fauci unless the evidence is so overwhelmingly against him.
I don't debate that securing the border is a multi-faceted and difficult prospect, but you have to try. To me Democrats don't even want to try, they just want to flood the country with immigrants. I know many here don't want to hear this, but the U.S. can not support the world. The U.S. can not support every single immigrant who wants to come to this country. You are right, the border has never been 100% secure. But I would argue that, in modern times, the border has never been as un secure as it was under Biden.
On that I agree. I'll admit I'm fired up today. Honestly, I've seen Democrats spike the football when they win. So I'll admit, I'm kind of in the mood to spike the football in Democrats faces today.
