Nancy Pelosi daughter has some not so kind things to say about the soon to be former first lady. Things consistent with what others have said and events that ahve occurred.

Paints her and Joe as very vindictive against Pelosi for being the representative of the party that had to force the issue with Joe. Especially Jill. Perhaps history wil show that it was Jill Biden that kept Joe in the primary for her own personal reasons. That personal desire gave us djt since we ended up with an untested, incapable (no personality) candidate only there because Biden picked a black woman to repay a favor.

Harris is a brilliant, apparently a good woman trying to do her best. Absolutely terrible politician when she had to win anything other than a state primary with an overwhelming machine behind her..Hillary, part deaux, both beat by someone totally unqualified, professionally and morally corrupt, and who has committed criminal acts against our country and put our national security at risk. Why do the dems keep forcing these candidates on the american people

‘Lady McBiden’: Alexandra Pelosi Blasts the First Lady

Pelosi has tried multiple times, I’m told, to have a conversation with Biden. But she and intermediaries who’ve also attempted a rapprochement have repeatedly been met with the same response from the president’s top advisers: The answer is no. “She’s been told they’re not over it, don’t make more overtures because he’s blaming her,” said a person who has spoken to Pelosi about the conversations between the former speaker and Biden’s aides.
    ....................................................
Biden did briefly chat with Pelosi, her husband, Paul, and daughter Christine at a White House holiday party last month. But that encounter only served to remind them of the rupture. The Pelosi family had not planned on entering the party’s receiving line. When they walked to the front, though, they were warmly greeted by the president, vice president and first gentleman. But Jill Biden was missing.
    ........
Any possibility that the first lady’s absence that night was coincidental was, in the mind of the Pelosi family, erased last week when Jill Biden used a Washington Post interview to go public with her anger toward the former speaker. “We were friends for 50 years,” said the first lady. “It was disappointing.”

What’s disappointing to her intimates is that Biden seems to blame Pelosi alone for an intercession that most Democratic leaders, then and now, believe was imperative. And that’s after all Pelosi did as speaker to deliver the votes for Biden’s most significant accomplishments, first as vice president and then as president.

I'm not sure Nancy is happy with her daughter for putting that comment out publicly. Pelosi seems to like to keep things in house and not air her dirty laundry publicly. Alexandria giving that quote to Politico is not in line with that guidance.

Dems screwed up after the 22 election. They should have told Biden then he needed to get out instead waiting late into the election season in 2024. No one to blame but themselves.

I think they kept waiting on him to make an announcement he was not running and the Biden family slow played it until the last minute and then stayed in. Trying to force him out at that point with no obvious reason was a lose lose option. It will be interesting to find out if party leaders that knew of his decline were pushing for him to step aside and when that push began in earnest, not the public face of it post debate, but the behind the scenes we need to do something discussions prior to that

There has been reliable reporting that Biden was diminished going back to mid-2023. You had a Democratic Congressman run against Biden in the primary specifically because he was too old to do the job and no one took him seriously. His new call sign is Cassandra.

Democratic leaders have known for a long time that Bidennwas not mentally fit to lead the country. They knew and they lied to the American people and American voters.
Best version of Biden. He is Harper than ever. He runs circles around us.. yeah.. right.
They knew but wanted the power that came with having a puppet president. Pelosi knew
    Schumer knew
    Jeffries knew
    Jill knew
    Hunter knew
    Kamala knew
    They all knew

Biden has been addled since the beginning. I thought for sure the plan was for him to step aside so the woman of color could become President without being elected.

That's why they kept him under wraps as much as possible in 2020.

if it was that bad for that long, they would have known there was no chance to hide it in debates and moved on sooner. Having been around someone that went thru it, the deterioration from barely noticeable to significant impairment, at least in our case, was fairly quick, around 6 months. Dr. Jill certainly knew, but the rate of progression can be a crap shoot.

But Trump is the threat to "our democracy." Meanwhile someone who was not elected is running the country because the current President is not capable of doing it.

There's much accuracy in this post, where you cite errors, on multiple fronts, which resulted in Democrats not putting their best candidate forward.

However, it also can’t be overlooked that the vast majority of Republican voters also convinced themselves that it was acceptable to cast a presidential vote for someone who was pretty obviously a sexual assaulter and a criminal. To say nothing about the perfectly apparent un-American criminal conspiracy to overturn the 2020 election.

So no, Democrats are not entirely to blame for Trump being elected.

As an aside, when you voted for Trump did you acknowledge that you were voting for a criminal? Do you consider him a criminal right now?

My take, I can only hope to be as coherent as he was at 80+. I probably won’t be….I’ll probably be the old guy giving people the middle finger and smile as I sink deeper into senility….
