Transfer Portal Thread (Other Schools)

You never know with these things....UF could've scheduled the visit, asked for the player's transcripts and after admissions stopped laughing, quietly let him know that he wouldn't be a candidate for transfer and good luck in the future. We are all just speculating in most recruiting matters.

 

According to the player, he wasn't being compensated for the agreement he made. I'm thinking this might be similar to the FSU basketball scenario and eventually wind up in court.

Such a crappy way to run College Football. All the moronic people in charge that thought this would be the best way to run College Football should be tarred and feathered.

He played against UF while he was at UT in 2020. IMO, he was the best of QB's that they rolled out that night, but that doesn't mean he was good. Of course that was his true Freshman season...apparently he got beat out by Hooker the following Fall.

The power 4 conference commissioners, et al., need to FIRE the NCAA, especially their feckless lazyazz president that needs to be the first one to go.

That's what the NCAA is essentially saying. There is now NO need for the portal.
