ETGator1 and I deleted a couple of posts, kissed, and made up. His breath smelled like cigars, and he said mine smelled like whiskey. It would be dissembling if I denied that.
So glad as both of you add so much to this thread and forum, as do so many others here..we need to remember, we are all Gators, we all want our programs to be successful and we can have differences of opinions as long as they are posted respectfully. Also, players, coaches, families can all read this forum..let's represent UF in a respectful and classy manner. If there is an issue, please pm rather than posting publicly and getting nasty..you can also pm me with your concerns.. Go Gators!
Gator Nation: Yes, here we all have one thing in common... We are the boys (and girls) from ole FLORIDA...In all kinds of weather, we all stick together... Go Gators!
Kmart 1st Team Academic All-American Kennedy Martin Named College Sports Communicators Academic All-American - Florida Gators
One of my favorite Gator athletes. All American athlete and scholar and just a wonderful human being. And she wants to give to the less fortunate. We are blessed to have her.
Kennedy is a program-changer. A team can't win the NCAA title without an athlete of Kennedy's calibar in their lineup. Kennedy can be the Bridget Sloan of the Gators' gymnastics team, the Lisa Raymond of our women's tennis program-athletes who were the missing pieces, the keystones that lifted us to our first NCAA titles after years of coming so close. If Wise can assemble the right combination of athletes to complement and maximize Kennedy's talent, and the Gators manage to stay healthy, Florida will have the best opportunity since 2017 to finally bring the hardware home to Gainesville.
Penn State women's volleyball player Alexa Markley, a 6-foot-2 outside hitter and an AVCA first-team All-American as a high school senior, enters the transfer portal. She'll have 1 year of eligibility remaining.
There's no info on where she wants to transfer to, but she's from Peachtree City, GA, so maybe somewhere close to home?
Productive freshman year, dipped her soph year, dropped off the map her jr year....not sure if healthy or just lost time due to ability
The Board of the Gator Attack Club had its first meeting of the year on Thursday evening at the Lemerand Center. CMW came by and spoke about VB in 2025. She is very excited about the incoming players. She was very animated about the big arms coming in. All the players below are here for Spring Practice. Transfers Jordyn Bird-6'4" Outside Hitter 2 years eligibility (possibly 3) Flo Colon-6'0" Outside Hitter 1 year eligibility Aniya Madkin-6'4" Outside Hitter 3 years eligibility Freshmen Devin Dzienny-5'8" DS/L De'Andra McMillian 6'2" Middle Blocker With the transfer of Cornier and the graduation of Trinity, that will be with the freshman 5 backcourt DS/L. Gabbi has graduated and will play her last year elsewhere. Other exciting news: The team is going on an international trip to Turkey, Slovenia, and another country, which has slipped my mind. There, they will play pro teams in those countries. What a time that should be. It should bring some great volleyball and toughening. Go Gators
Does anyone know if Lily Hayess is still gonna be a gator? She has Gatorsvb '29 on her bio but no mention of her signing. Seems like a good prospect since she is in the usa gym, but I think that will put the gators at like 20 players?
She is still followed by VB players and has a pic of her signing. To be honest, I had not heard of her until this post. What size and position?
