MBB OGT: Texas at #5 FLORIDA -- January 18, 2025 -- 4 PM [ESPN2]

We need a huge run to start the 2nd half. Our bigs have given next to nothing on the offensive end. We NEED some inside presence

 

Condo 0-5. He needs to get it going.
At least there's a good chance he'll be back next year SMH

 

Georgia almost got them, at home without Johnnie Broome. of course we have to play them at Auburn with Broome, uggh.

 

Haugh just can't stay on the court due to dumb fouls. Condon has 8 rebounds, but has been awful on offense. When Alexis is in for Chinyelu, there's a noticeable drop in play on both ends. We're dominating the paint, outscoring them 20-8, +4 in rebounds, just need to finish better at the rim. We only have 3 turnovers, but it seems like more. Still up by 7 at the half. Just have to keep the pressure on without fouling.

 

Both Condo and Haugh have not scored..need to get them involved.

Condon needs to make his inside moves faster. Giving them time to set up then trying to shoot doesn’t work coaches, need to make him aware in half court ball, quick moves work, slow dribble and shoot is normally what we saw in the first half. I can’t believe we can’t recruit a big that has a good offensive game. Condon is really good rebounding and getting the ball quickly upcourt but it looks like he is thinking too much around the basket.
