I know they put tighter restrictions on scoring, which are beyond my comprehension. I just have to trust the integrity of the judges. The home team always tends to get a very slight edge in scoring, though, even when meets are in Gainesville.
No one broke 9.9. Sloane' being the 1st gymnast, her fall put a lot of pressure on the rest of the gymnasts
Gators need a great Floor score to have a chance since LSU is one of the top Floor teams. I'm not too worried about Beam. We are solid there. Let's hope LSU's nerves show up on their Beam routine.
Ya'll got to take into consideration more than just how they look to us. The judges take into consideration the difficulty of the routine along with other minor things such as where they land, how they land, did they reach the peak of height in their routine and hold it, etc., etc. If anybody is a certified gymnastics judge, I'll defer to their expertise, but short of that I'm not going to criticize the judging because I absolutely KNOW they know more about how to score these rountines than I do. I'm just enjoying the competition and the great athletes and hoping our ladies come out on top.
