I would say the Leah Thomas example was ridiculous. Definitely crazy that someone competed in the NCAA as a man and then also competed at the same level
as a woman. I would think 100% would agree that scenario should not happen.

But that Olympic boxer showed how pliable they are as far as
their demands around sticking to the gender at birth. Not sure what her deal is, but it seems the righties issue in that case is the boxer in question didn’t get gender affirming care? An amusing twist that they aren’t even aware of their own inconsistencies (sounds like in her case she probably was born with a genetic condition). I think we’ve all probably watched some women’s sports, at least during Olympics and when a homely woman dominates in sports: “that’s a man, bro”. I’m sure I’m guilty of making that joke myself. Of course back in the day I probably would have assumed they were juicing with testosterone or some type of hgh regimen, but I wouldn’t doubt some have a genetic condition like that boxer very likely does.

Lia Thomas should have never been allowed to compete. That being said her time the year that she won the NCAA Championship in the 500 meter freestyle (4:33.24) wasn't remotely close to Katie Ledecky's record (4:24.06) and wouldn't have even placed "her" in the top ten times historically of genetic women who competed in that event.

While doctors have the ability to treat women whose lives are in jeopardy they are also constrained by vaguely drafted laws that could subject them to criminal prosecution and/or loss of their license to practice medicine. If the state legislatures that were really concerned over the lives of women they could have included immunity from prosecution for doctors who determined that a termination of pregnancy was medically necessary. Virtually none of the laws include such a provision.

Why not? He claimed to be trans. Where is the line? At least now it won't happen again. As well as the crazy idea that he should change with his female teammates.

Thomas, IMO, was the perfect litmus test. If you were supporting that, then you were a slave to the political rhetoric and dogma. Keep in mind, Thomas would have been tracking her times throughout the process and would have known she was going to dominate. Poaching, plain and simple. Like putting 16yos in the 13yo division.

The silliest side is the women's bathroom kerfuffle, where everyone on the right just ignores the fact that women's bathrooms have stalls and, thus, you have to go to great lengths to do pervy stuff.

That was not the standard in swimming. In swimming, a person had to register with 5 nanomoles per liter of testosterone for 36 straight months. That policy has now been updated to 2.5 nanomoles per liter, I believe. It is interesting that you thought that the policy was based simply on a claim. Why did you think that?

I wonder if she knew this and sandbagged so as not to make it so obvious.

Same reason 14yos don't get to go back and play T-Ball against 8yos.

This proposed bill is absolutely a mole hill. The only way to make it into a mountain would be to introduce conflict to the equation.

Now you’re cooking with gas. That’s what I think about pretty much every post you make, and every thread you start.

And that's why the international swimming organization (FINA) banned it in international (Olympics, Worlds) within a week of it happening. Yet here we are, still talking about it. . . . Hmm. Seems MAGA is just obsessed with this stuff. Almost like a . . . . crutch!

No. The law is clear. Doctors have all the protection to abort a child if the mother’s health is at risk. The law is clear and explicitly states it. Stop lying. I have posted the law multiple times and you know that. Read it.

Oh, so since she didn't beat the World record, it's ok that she took the spots of deserving women...

Holy crap, that is some next level gas lighting.

If "women's" sports "exist for a reason", what is the reason? Let me guess... so women can compete in sports. OK. Where in that statement is it ok for a biological MALE, who thinks and or wants to be a woman, fit?

He .... doesn't fit into a competition for biological females. Why can't "he
compete against biological males .... even though "he" thinks he's a female?
