And? Unless it's a crime directly related to job performance or brings integrity into question (not that any politician in the modern age has integrity) who cares? It's really a big stretch to link his lawyer paying off a porn star to be quiet to election interference. By that measure just about anything he does could be election interference. Jaywalking to get somewhere for a political rally? Also committing a crime that could possibly improve his electability. Is it now felony jaywalking? Most people see through that charade, and while the action might have been morally wrong who cares? This is demonstrably true given what's happening Monday. I don't believe being open about encounters with prostitutes is part of presidential jub duties, but being mentally competent enough to carry a conversation is.
Most people can and do see through it. It’s the democrats who are slow to comprehend what happened and why. Good post partdopy.
Now do criminal conspiracy to overturn an election. Then do criminal conspiracy to not return classified documents. Ya know....the things for which over 50 felony indictments still exist for the criminal-elect. Bur which a corrupt judiciary prevented from going to trial.
Indictments mean nothing. You sound like the Q conspiracy guys. Just wait until they throw Hillary in jail then I'm sure they'll get to these indictments. The obviously political persecution backfired spectacularly and rather than see that some people just double down.
"History will show that so and so is the worst president ever". The problem with that is that the people that are writing the history are basing it on things that were written at the time of the presidential term and what the president accomplished while in office. And guess what, all of those things are based on a perspective that the writer has and may not have anything to do with what that president did to make people's lives worse or better during his term. At this point, everyone is too close to the end of recent presidents to judge. In a hundred years, people will have a different perspective and may judge differently. The presidents we dislike are/were never as bad as we think and the ones we like weren't as perfect as we think.
Trump is one of, if not the most consequential presidents post WWII. There is no doubt. Biden will be evaluated as the “meat” of a Trump sandwich or a layer of ripe mayonnaise. Right now he is neither until we see what economy Trump leaves for us all in 2029.
Hilarious. Indictments given by a grand jury of citizens "mean nothing." Not even that.....there are grounds to have a fair trial? Trump and his supporters are like parasites; extract personal gain from the system, then disrespect and disregard it as desired. You are basically telling us: "Here is my astute analysis on the law regarding some Trump charges. The rest don't matter and shouldnt even be considered -dindu nuffin."
Jimmy Carter is forever grateful to Biden that he has finally relinquished the title of the worst president in history.
Yes, being formally or informally accused of something should carry no weight until guilt or innocence has been decided. That's key to how the justice system here operates. I'm basically telling you that the majority of voters were able to see through the politically motivated felony charge which has no bearing on his ability to perform the job he's elected to perform, and also that accusations mean nothing until they're proven. I'm sorry that you're unable to recognize these basic facts. Also I didn't vote for Trump in 2024, nor in any previous election. Personally I think it's unfortunate our choices for president were Trump and Harris but here we are. Maybe the left should have spent their energy finding a quality candidate rather than the orange man bad schtick they wore out with constant bad late night television comedy attempts, and now have tried to bring to the justice system. Running on a platform of the other side being bad is just showing me you have nothing of substance to offer. We know he has a felony conviction. Cool. Now what does that have to do with his opponents platform?
Agreed, but then such a verdict should carry weight, right? Well that is quite a quick reversal. So you started out by saying that accusations should not carry weight. Now you are arguing that neither should convictions, unless you like them.
Does this nonsense know no bounds? You maga need to put up or shut up, and I'm not talking about some russian paid podcaster's twisted story with a hole in it.
Trump was hardly tried by a jury of his peers. They hand picked where to file the charges because they knew in the districts they used the jury would not find Trump innocent, no matter the evidence. It appears to me that more of America did not believe Trump guilty as he won both the EC and the popular vote
Jean Carroll is wondering what the felon's political motivation was. Are you kidding. What do you suppose the felon's political motivation was to commit business/tax fraud was? Seems this poster is ignoring some basic facts. Poster has a very vivid imagination to see boxes of documents in a MAL bathroom marked classified and imagine it's the felon's reading material.
Yeah, that is not how any of this works. He was charged in New York County because he committed the crime in New York County. There is a reason that every venue related complaint was dismissed. BTW, that is also not how jury selection works. Prosecutors don't get to unilaterally pick a jury. Both sides get to question the prospective jurors and select potential jury members to exclude. Have you really not ever done jury duty to not know this?
Lawfare (for Cons): any jury of your peers that returns a verdict that maggats dislike. The jury selection was like any other trial, both sides had their choices. The location was in the legal jurisdiction of the charges, as it is supposed to be. Poster makes up entire scenarios or worse knowingly lies. Embarrassing that this is so often the case with this poster.
Just absolutely hilarious. Being accused should carry no weight "until guilt or innocence has been decided" ......... but also there should be no trial. Because that's what was decided by a judge who was literally appointed by the defendant. The childish level of "logic" employed by MAGA has reached (actually been at) parody level. Well, sure you are. But you're wrong. You see, voters don't determine guilt or innocence wrt felony charges. Trials, judges and juries do. And the corrupt judiciary, again largely appointed by the actual defendant, prevented that from happening. Strangely convenient, no? Say what?!! Disrespecting the Constitution to the point of trying to overturn an election has "no bearing" on a person's ability to do a job requiring an oath to....... literally defend the Constitution? LOL, this again? "Not guilty without a trial. Not gonna have a trial. Therefore not guilty." Laughable. Childish. Nothing you said was a fact. LOL. Nope. Left not responsible for the felon being elected. Seen that one before. No, not really cool. Makes him unfit for office. I guess some people don't care about the law or convictions though.
The decider of who is fit or unfit for office in the real world is voters. The majority have decided you're wrong. Good luck with your non fact based opinions.
"Joey" must have done something right considering that Republicans are taking credit for projects funded under his Infrastructure Act even though they voted against it. The Republicans taking credit for federal funding they voted against Republicans Are Taking Credit for Infrastructure Bill They All Voted Against | The New Republic It wouldn't surprise me if Donnie takes credit for some of those projects after he takes office as well as some of the new microprocessor factories funded under Biden's Chips and Science Act.
And once again, you are entirely incorrect. The voters get to decide their preference, and vote their will. Their vote has everything to do with their preference, and not necessarily anything to do with fact. Nothing I said was opinion. It's actually interesting, by the way, for you to cite the ability of voters to decide.......as you shill for a criminal - the only POTUS in US history who tried to illegally overturn an election, and in so doing......get this.....disregard the decision of the voters. Irony is certainly lost on you, sir.
You guys are funny. Biden leaves office undefeated by Trump at the ballot box and has one hell of a record of peace and the economy. He’ll end up well regarded minus his determination to run again. BDS is alive and well.
