I Just re-read the rules. It does not violate any written rule. Must be one of the unwritten, subject to change on a personal whim rule. The type rule most folks would refer to as opinion.

Under the Constitution the AG doesn't even have to be a lawyer. The only position requiring a legal background is Solicitor General the attorney who represents the US government in cases before the Supreme Court. Even Supreme Court justices themselves do have to be lawyers.

 

Well, she DID get her anti-American values training in Florida, so she IS qualified.
