We don't really know, but I'll bet you that $20 million is just what they're recruiting freshman with
It was for Ohio State's roster. Ohio State requires players to disclose their NIL deals within 30 days of signing them. Ohio State players received 'around $20 million' in NIL, believed to be largest amount in college football
How many of an 85 roster gets NIL money I wonder. If it's mostly going to their projected two deep it's a lot of money. Of course the bulk goes to their best recruits but just wondering how deep into the roster NIL money is distributed.
Preferably, you'd keep the majority of your money in the two deep. Realistically, you can't recruit HS if you do this. Everyone is getting something. 4 million is 8 Pyburn's (allegedly), so that's 40 players at Pyburn's level if the budget is 20mill. You pay one guy 4 mill, that's 8 less guys you can give 2 deep money to. Everyone can't have 500k, so sometimes you have to let a guy like Pyburn go. The money is finite.
4 million is 8 pyburns, he asked for 500k, allegedly. I’m saying if you pay one guy 4 mill, that’s 8 other guys you can’t pay 500k.
There were many good tobgreat defenses in the PAC his junior year, so he was tested. I never bought the argument he faced nobody: OR, OrS, WA, UT, etc.
Between 3-4, most likely. Waaaayyy too much, smh! fwiw: Miami paying QB transfer Carson Beck $4 million in NIL money | Report Then there is this:
Strange world. So many people willing to talk, but nobody willing to let their name be associated with their words.
That's what we contemplated paying Rashada straight Outta high school so it doesn't really sound like an exorbitant amount of money as far as what's going on right now
