We have such a hard time in our half court offense without a ball handler. I don’t like this no point guard offense. Also still having issues figuring out who inbounds the ball after a made basket.

Didn’t bring the defense intensity till the second half. We could very easily lose the next four if we are only going to play one half with good focus and intensity. Everybody in the SEC wants to beat the Gators, so it is up to us if we want to play winning basketball. Their bigs took us to the woodshed. More physical, better shooters and got more rebounds. I don’t see anybody left on our schedule that will lay down for us. We couldn’t penetrate to the basket and just looked slow all night. Baketball lessons were handed out from Missouri. Sucks…..

At home wthis teram should have won. Nice rally in the 2nd half, but the Gators didn't start the game with the intensity and focus needed to win the game. 1st half deficiet just too much to overcome. Every SEC game is going to reuiqre our best and it wasn't there tonight. Congrats to Missouri for ther great game they played.

A questionable 3pt/2pt call should activate a reminder light at the scorers table. They ref should be able to tell the table official to turn on the "review light" and it should be reviewed at the next play stoppage.

If he makes all 3, and the overturn of their 3 to a 2 and it’s in their court to get the last basket

Agree. That is not a judgement call type play. That should automatically be reviewed by anyone who has a video in front of them and addressed at the next stoppage

We lost the game in the last 5 minutes of the 1st half, when we blew several chances to cut the lead down to single digits.

Alexis had almost no minutes in the second half. Ditto Alberdeen. Golden played a six man rotation against a much deeper squad like Missouri’s. Why are Brown, Klavzar, and Mikic not getting ANY playing time if for nothing else just to keep our main guys fresh.

We got exposed today. We were outrebounded and out muscled. Teams will give their best 3 point shooters the green light against us because our two losses resulted in two guys from UK shooting 8-11 and two guys from Mizzou shooting 8-11. That is 16 - 22 from 4 players or 73%.

Agree, Brown and Klavzar could have helped us. Mizzou played 12 men to our 8.
That was huge for resting their starters and avoiding key fouls.

Golden got out coached tonight. great formula for beating us. Pressure defense, deep bench to stay fresh. Points off turnovers were 18-6 in favor of Miz.

Credit Missouri for a well played game in a hostile environment. Damn amazing shooting in the first half. I also think that their bigs were a nice combination of size and athleticism that was a bit different than what we have played.

But in the end, we were just a mentally fatigued team. Not enough oomph to win against a quality team. Even if we had found a way to win it in the end, a game like this was going to manifest down the road. May as well have a coaching moment early in the season rather than down the stretch.

And yeah, we need to develop some more depth. I know Klavzar is our next man up and his shooting has been not as good as we have been hoping, but we need to get him some minutes when we can. Alexis is getting some learning curve minutes, and so can he.

The real question is…why do college basketball games start at 9pm? I’m not just talking about the Gators either. Why do teams playing at home in the Eastern time zone start games at 9pm? It makes absolutely no sense from a media outlet standpoint.

Does anyone agree with me on this? Haha
