He has a degree from Princeton and Harvard. Rose to the rank of Major, and served tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Received the Bronze Star and 2 Army Commendation medals. While I would have liked to see someone more qualified, I think he can do the job.

Having a masters degree from Harvard and being a major in the army reserve does not qualify one to be secretary of defense. But then add in the sexual assault allegations and the alcohol abuse, the marital infidelities with his first 2 wives, and you wouldn't hire this guy for a middle manager position at your company.
