When Napier has an elite qb running the show, it may be a bit different.

With Tebow, Percy , Murphy, Nelson, the dude that went to the Eagles, the murderer, a couple good running backs.... I think I could call the plays. Throw in a couple Hall of Fame offensive linemen

After my DMs to Emma Watson have gone unanswered, and reviewing my options, I've decided to stay in my current relationship.

Yeah, I've had a similar experience with Hailey Bieber. I'm guessing that she has just been busy lately.

I’m not here to defend him at all, but pretty sure the spinner was with the dazzler.

No- the spinner came in after our disaster vs Auburn at home in 07.
Mullen was the OC- and it was a bad game...
The Dazzler wasn't OC until 09 and as someone else mentioned, our offense underperformed its talent.

I see people mention the spinner all the time as PROOF Mullen was a bad OC.
Like 1 game cancels out 2 national titles and 1 Heisman. (And should have been 2, BTW.)
Oh- and in 07- the season of the spinner- we had the THIRD ranked offense in the nation. And top in the SEC.

    But about that 1 game.
If someone is REALLY that logically impaired that they think 1 bad game cancels out 2 NCs and the 3rd ranked offense in the nation...
Perhaps ask a question...Was there something going on that night...
Something different about Mullen that could have caused him to call a bad game...

Dan Mullen coached the day after an appendectomy in 2007

Why, YES! Mullen had an emergency appendectomy on FRIDAY.
The day before the auburn game.
He literally walked out of the hospital Saturday- against doctors orders- to coach the game.
And had a doctor right next to him.

So I'll say it again- anyone who thinks Mullen isn't an incredible OC is off his rocker.
As long as he doesn't have emergency surgery the night before...

Attack Mullen as Head guy all you want- he deserves it.
But wow what an OC. Spinner or no spinner.

I think it was not having Percy that made the biggest difference .

A prominent Gator booster is stating that Napier isn’t going to hire an OC

I tend to believe Davids source. IMO Napier will not surrender the duty, he will either succeed or fail at UF with him running the offense.

I can't stand Mullen (for short arming the program after his 3rd season), but I agree with you in regards to him being an excellent OC. I'm still mad at him though for calling for Tebow pass instead of getting à first down at the end of the game against ole miss.

I do think it's time to stop blaming Mullen for CBNs performance as a HC. He's been gone à long time. CBN is retained by the admin for another season. He's had 4 recruiting cycles under his best. Let see what he can do this year.
If he wins 9-10 games, then great. There's no need to blame it on anybody else if he fails this year.

I don’t think anybody is blaming Mullen for anything happening under Billy. To me, we were just debating Mullen as an independent entity
