We got to watch Tony's development, but I also read things with players that said it was very clear that more talented players weren't getting to play over less talented players and Houston was one of those. I read where a player said clearly trask was the better player than Frank, and there was no doubt in their mind as teammates
Yes, there was favoritism. I won't defend Mullen, but a lot of Houston's excellence must have been on the practice field. He was a mixed bag of results when he got time. It was probably a good move for him to transfer.
If a player can’t make an All-Conference list in a lesser conference such as the MAC, MEAC, or MWC, they probably weren’t cut out to start at a P4 powerhouse to begin with.
That one was always a head-scratcher to me. I still remember his hit on UGa's 2nd team QB after Bennett got hurt in 2020. I think that dude is still seeing stars. It sure looked like he could play while he was in that game.

At the same time, no shame not cracking the lineup at Bama with their WR corp. If you're not top 6, might not see the field. But I see a total of 12 WRs on their 2024 roster and only two in their 2025 class so it would not appear he was recruited over or they are carrying so many WRs that he needed a roster with space. UF for instance shows 18 total WRs and we landed a slew this cycle.
