It's even wierder - The OP took their winner rating down. It was likely a reflex smash to a post from a teammate, but when called out, they removed it.

And why would you put "winner" on a post that posits that the death toll from the fires is higher than currently reported? (or post that to begin with?)

    Bizzaro.

So the complaint is that the media isn’t reporting the fire death rate because Cali is a blue state? Is that really it?

This is so hard for libbies.
    The media is rarely objective.
    It’s not that hard.

As proven here by the idea that the media isn't reporting on fatalities in CA?

This thread is such a fail and anyone doubling down on this stupidity should feel bad. This has been one of the top stories across almost all national outlets for days now. My goodness.

So is the party of small government wanting to pass a new law requiring a running death count on all news stories? Maybe they can start with mass shootings nationwide.

    Because ideas aren't truth.

But that's OK. I know you don't need your vicitimization to be backed by truth. It's always been about the feelz.

The claim was no one was covering the death toll. I've known the death toll as it was updated day by day - because it's the first thing said in every story. Sometimes in the actual headline. So the argument that this isn't being tracked by the liberal MSM is false, and comparing it to COVID where millions died is ridiculous.

It’s on brand for the MAGA socialists to bitch about how private biz operates. What ever happened to personal responsibility & caveat emptor?

We should start a death count for really bad threads.

You only like your own truth.
There’s truth to be found in many places.
But you libbies are closed off to only believe your own.
    Sad.

Ah, yes. Living in a post-truth world I see.

There's actual truth - you know - like how the media is in fact reporting deaths in CA.

And there's your preferred truth - the one that supports your feelz of being a victim - but are completely lacking any factual basis.

Since the righties claim the CNN and other so called "MSM" outlets are unreliable and are suppressing the real death toll this is the latest from Fox News.
Los Angeles wildfires claim at least 24 lives as Gavin Newsom faces new funding scrutiny
Said it in a previous post the Los Angeles County and the City of Los Angeles are reporting the number of confirmed fatalities. There is no coverup either by the governmental entities or the media. As the ruins of the burned-out structures are searched and more human remains are discovered the number will go up. No one is hiding anything.

That’s what I’d say too if I was a libbie with the MSM on my side.
    You’re very predictable exile.

So you're saying that Fox News is an MSM outlet since their reporting on the number of fatalities is identical to that of CNN and the broadcast networks?

This example is an example of how skewed reporting is...in general. You can read "the paper of record" a/k/a New York Times and be woefully uninformed, as you can Fox News. Caveat emptor.
