Agree. He's all out hustle but has to learn not to overdo it and foul so much. He would get more time on the floor if not for silly fouls.

He’s my favorite on the team. His stats don’t wow anyone but that dude just hustles and does a lot of things that don’t show up in the box score.

I love the fans who take shots at Clayton. Between FSU and UNC, the kid had 21 assists and 8 turnovers over 6 games while averaging 19 points and shooting 40% from the arc on an insanely high 10 attempts per game, to go with 2 steals a game. His defense has been massively improved and his advance passes are maybe the best I have seen at Florida (at least since Chiozza). He is as effective of a scorer at all three levels as we’ve had here, too.

I'm a big fan of the way Haugh plays also. It's like he's playing on a pogo-stick  and he's willing (and usually ready) to challenge any shot.

Our interior defense continues to shine with guys providing timely/connected help defense consistently. Alexis I think is the one big who needs to work on that more.

Is it just me, or does Jimmy Dykes only question foul calls/non-calls that favor the Gators?

Sadly, I fear Johni's injury is a bit more than a sprain. When your foot goes 90 degrees to your shin, it's never good.

Hoping for speedy recovery for the guy...

I think Ark was bent on stopping out guards at any cost to disrupt our offensive flow, it had some success but we did not submit to this strategy as you pointed out. Our athletic bigs played hard and dominated the rebounding. In the second half, Ark really pressured our guards to disrupt our entry passing but we offset that with screens and sthleticism. I’m proud of TG, staff, and team in weathering the storm in a difficult environment - this was a big win. We all knew these away games would be tough and here we are.

Had to be of the high-ankle variety then. Garden-variety ankle sprains usually are okay within a couple of weeks. My high-ankle sprain, my whole foot swelled like a balloon from my toes to above my ankle, and the whole thing turned black and blue. Ugly.
