you mock the slang and refuse to acknowledge the difference in credentials. i understand it is a losing argument so one to be avoided. defer, confuse, obfuscate. never discuss facts, demand dna level proof of any accusation or cry fake news. definitely a pattern

I have more hope for Bondi than I did for Barr at any time. Certainly a notch above the avg. of the various nominees.

What does "refuse to acknowledge the difference in credentials" mean? If someone went to Yale, does that mean they are more credible than someone that went to UF? Is U Penn Law school significantly more credible than Michigan Law?

And just to be clear, you are referring to Duke University and Michigan Law School as "diploma mill" schools?

I would agree with you on Bondi being very much a notch above Trump's other nominees for significant posts.

That makes one of us. IMO she's nothing more than the run-of-the-mill paid for criminals Trump associates with and appoints.

Once again Trump will be receiving a return on his investment through his illegal campaign contribution to Pam Bondi's reelection campaign. His first payoff was her decision to withdraw from the lawsuit against Trump University for defrauding its "students". Pam Bondi the best AG that money could buy.

    Precisely.

It's hard to believe how that level of direct payoff, and fraudulent scamming from Trump/Trump University could be acceptable to people. But Trump supporters have their way to justify voting for and supporting a criminal.....

Will she go full Cannon and totally abandon any scrap of legal reputation she ever had to twist things enough to continue to be able to say yes to the high master?

you mean like the investigation driven by a partisan politician appointing a partisan special investigator then supplied misinformation from a russian agent to prosecute a politcal enemy? that kind of lawfare? where the original informant pled guilty and was sentenced to 6 years for providing false information from the russian agent.

see, this one was decided in court, where facts and evidence matter, not in the court of misinformed opinion

Ex-FBI informant gets 6 years in bogus Biden bribe story | Fox News

A former FBI informant who prosecutors say fabricated a phony story of President Biden and his son Hunter Biden accepting $10 million in bribes from the Ukrainian gas company Burisma was sentenced Wednesday to six years in federal prison.

Alexander Smirnov, a dual U.S.-Israeli citizen, has been behind bars since he was arrested last February on charges of making false statements to the FBI.

The indictment came in connection with Special Counsel David Weiss’ investigation into Hunter. Weiss later indicted Hunter on tax and gun-related charges, but President Biden granted him a sweeping pardon in December before his son was to be sentenced.
    ...............

this is from the special counsel in that case speaking about the man just sentenced to 6 years in prison
    ..................................

"In committing his crimes he betrayed the United States, a country that showed him nothing but generosity, including conferring on him the greatest honor it can bestow, citizenship," Weiss' team wrote in court papers. "He repaid the trust the United States placed in him to be a law-abiding naturalized citizen and, more specifically, that one of its premier law enforcement agencies placed in him to tell the truth as a confidential human source, by attempting to interfere in a Presidential election."

how does it feel to be that disconnected from reality?
are the immigrants still eating the pets
did djt really win the 2020 election due to corrupted voting machines and secret ballot stuffing
did russia have to invade ukraine to defend itself
was covid really a chinese plot to embarass djt
do electric blankets make you itchy too
lol at what the gullible are willing to parrot

They'd have to start from scratch.

Judge ruled Jack Smith illegally appointed. Jack appealed ruling. Jack withdrew his appeal, before it was ruled on. Judgment stands, rendering all of Jax axns, nullity.

Not surprising since he was appointed specifically as Special Counsel to handle the investigation of Trump's apparent violations of the law and in any event he probably would have been canned within 24 hours after 12 noon on January 20th.

From what I could determine that 11th Circuit has yet to issue a decision on whether or not Jack Smith was illegally appointed. Smith dropped the case against Trump it's still pending against his co-defendants and if he drops the case against them their attorneys would be able to use the argument the release of the Report would prejudice the cases against them. I would also add that the Mueller Report was released even though Mueller indicated that Trump could not be prosecuted because he was the sitting president at the time. Ironically, a very strong argument can be made that Cannon no longer has jurisdiction over whatever Smith does given that she completely dismissed the case. Release of the report would not constitute prosecution of Trump.

I believe unless Cannon is overruled by the 11th Circuit, Smith is not a Special Counsel on the Documents Case. So he could not submit a report on that case, but could submit one on the the Jan 6th case.

If AG Garland wants to appoint another member of the DoJ that has been Senate confirmed to their current position to Special Counsel, the Smith Report on the Documents case could still be turned in before Jan 20th.
