"Just The News" chose not to include this quote. Do you think that is meaning to mislead you?

Trump takes national security much more seriously than Biden, Harris, and the Democrats do. It is difficult to look into the future and say what the results will be, but 12 of the past 16 years of DNC led military leadership has been incompetent and allowed China to rival and even surpass us in some ways militarily. We may look back on the 2024 election as the turning point in winning WWIII. That is what this is all about, and I love a POTUS who is already fighting for our national security even before he has set foot in the oval office for his second term.

What is important to note here is Trump has not invaded Greenland, and he has not invaded Panama. But he sure does know how to get a negotiation started even if he is bluffing.

Use silly ridiculous sources... arrive at silly ridiculous conclusions. Now we know why they left out the important quote .... it didn't match the click-bait narrative /mentality of the extreme right wing. This should embarrass any principled poster, much less a mod.
    • Overall, we rate Just the News Questionable and Right Biased based on story selection that mostly favors a conservative perspective. We also rate them Mixed for factual reporting due to numerous failed fact checks and the promotion of conspiracy theories and right-wing propaganda.

The quote is actually from an article on TheHill.com which is a fairly reputable site.

Greenland leader says he's 'ready' to talk with Trump

Is anyone actually against the US doing a legal deal that ends up with Greenland as a US protectorate similar to Puerto Rico? It is something that the US has tried to since 1867.

We would be smart to get cozy with the people and country of Greenland. Russia and China would love to put a military base there.

    Oh.

19 times Trump promised to enact a health-care plan

Over the past three years, President Trump has touted a forthcoming health-care plan over a dozen times, only to blow past his own deadlines without enacting a plan.

I'm sure you'd sleep better at night seeing Russia and China trying this.

Not sure about China, but Russia could probably also order Lidl' Donny Jr. to fly to Greenland for a photo op. The laughs I got out of that would be about the same, so really wouldn't affect my sleep.

Good point. China is supposedly making a push to get a presence in Greenland considering their natural resources. It would be in our interests to get the best relationship possible with Greenland. Although imo it’s not the best way to go about it with trump’s “I’m not going to commit to that,” in regards to not going to war with Denmark to capture it.

From his statements it appears that he's referring to allowing the US to lease more military bases in Greenland (we already have an Air Force/Spaceforce base in Greenland) or allowing US companies to extract natural resources not a takeover of the island and turning it into a US territory as Trump has suggested.

I do NOT think it's up to Denmark anymore. What I mean is that the people of Greenland have the right to do as they please, they are a sovereign nation, not owned by Denmark.
