Trump had capable, qualified, and ethical advisors during his first term. He no longer wants anyone intelligent or ethical enough to tell him "no" when he's about to say or do something stupid, and he has a republican Congress willing to give him what he wants this time around. McConnell refused to agree to Trump's stupid ideas the first time around, if you recall, which is why so little of Trump's worthless Mexican wall was built.
