Looks like they go on sale to the general public at 10am tomorrow. There’s two on Ticketmaster for 115 each, but i assume what they release in the morning will be more reasonable.
Mine are always at cost plus Venmo expense if I can't be in my seats. $30 for Conference, $20 for Non-Conference. I have two seats.
That's okay -- It took a couple of hours but I've stopped crying now. If anyone gets a lead on a ticket AT UCF on March 26th, please let me know!
I know. I was just stating my pricing for any game I can't make. The seats are for sale and to Gator fans only.
This from Softball America today: Bordi, Bellaire, Shaw reclassify, strengthen Oklahoma & Florida by: Brady Vernon After reclassifying this past week, three of the best talents from the 2025 recruiting class will join their teams this upcoming season. Top 75 Softball America recruits Sophia Bordi, Makenna Bellarie and Kylie Shaw will join Oklahoma and Florida. Bordi, the 12th overall in the 2025 rankings, is a five-star right-handed pitcher from Haddon Heights, N.J. and comes from OC Batbusters Stith, which Oklahoma has been very connected to. Bordi is another potential arm for the Sooners with Kierston Deal, Sam Landry, Isabella Smith, Paytn Monticelli and fellow freshman Audrey Lowry “Sophia brings a lot to the table,” Oklahoma head coach Patty Gasso said in the team’s signing day release. “She is an elite pitcher, having won championships in both high school and travel ball. She is also elite offensively. She brings power from the right side and we expect her to be an integral part of our program. I’m very excited about Sophia’s future as a Sooner.” Bordi did sustain an injury early in 2024 that kept her out for most of the year for high school and travel ball. It’ll be interesting to see how much the Sooners intend to use her. Four-stars Bellarie and Shaw join an already incredible Florida freshman class. The Gators had at-bats and a roster spot open following the transfer of Ariel Kowalewski during the winter window. Bellarie is an important addition as she adds depth behind the plate for Jocelyn Erickson. “I’m so excited to join this program,” said Bellarie via a release from the school. “Coming in early, I get to be surrounded by my teammates who have already been through the fall schedule and know what to expect, which I think will help me progress faster. This team is one of the greatest I’ve ever seen and I can’t wait to compete with them. I haven’t been so much nervous as I have been excited with the quick turnaround. I can’t wait to do the Gators proud!” Shaw is a speedy outfielder from Estero, Florida. The Gator outfield is projected to be Korbe Otis, Kendra Falby and freshman Taylor Shumaker but Otis and Falby graduate after this season potentially opening the door for Shaw and Townsen Thomas to start next year. The Gators do now only have one signee in the 2025 class but a huge and talented set to start their careers this season.
We wanted Bordi big time. Near the top of the list. I've seen her play a lot for the Batbusters and she is legit both in the circle and at the plate. She camped with us and probably visited during recruiting. I don't know it for a fact but I'll bet it came down to us and Oklahoma. Gasso has big connections with the Batbusters but so does Tim.
Bordi goes yard for the Batbusters: btw...the tall beautiful blonde crossing the plate as the second runner was....Taylor.
Every SEC program broadcasts all of their home February games but us. I have heard Auburn doesn't do all of them but not sure of that. Every February we miss a minimum of 10 home games (both tournaments). Add the certainty of missing three games at USF and who knows about Arizona and, as usual, we miss somewhere in the neighborhood of 25% of our regular season games. I'm not kidding, I watch more of LSU, A&M, Tennessee and Georgia during February then I get to watch my own team. The only solution, and it likely won't work, is to pound the AD over and over with complaints regarding our broadcasting failures.
Since you write so well how about you drafting a email letter from l“We the undersigned fans and members of the forum” to all the powers at UF that we can find email addresses for and sign it with both our screen names and real names. Send one gigantic email so everyone knows our disappointment.
The only email currently listed is a generic email for the AD. Not personal as others in the athletic department. I have complained numerous times and it is my recollection it was a personal email although I highly doubt he ever actually got it and I never received a response. For what it is worth, it is this: administration@gators.ufl.edu. Good luck. I have been told he knows about the broadcasting failures, knows he could correct it by addressing it, and simply doesn't care.
Most of what our AD does is coin operated. If someone donates enough cash he would gladly spend it. Maybe one day we will have a wealthy florida alum with journalism and media ties that donates the resources explicitly for more tv production.
OU i think discovered there pitching is not enough yet. Landry is good but if she is their best they are vulnerable in the circle. Adding Bordi will help.
I liked Christina a lot. Even though she didn't play much she was a very good pinch runner. She is doing graduate work at Charlotte and plays softball.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration in just three years from UF. She is a very smart young lady.
