“If we want a great nation, we should be preparing young women to become mothers,” Yenor said, “not finding every reason for young women to delay motherhood until they are established in a career or sufficiently independent.”

Yenor argued that higher education “delays growing up,” saying that college and universities are “indoctrination camps” that society should de-emphasize in order to make progress on “family matters.”

“Every effort must be made not to recruit women into engineering, but rather to recruit and demand more of men who become engineers. Ditto for med school and the law and every trade,” Yenor said.

Why does he keep appointing the worst of the worst? Was there no due diligence done in the sky? I look forward to hearing him backtrack on his statement

Certain types of men have been trying to deemphasize education ever since women started going. Idk what is so appealing to some about pretending it’s the 1800s but the idea that we should attempt to reduce the number of doctors or engineers by deemphasizing education and forcing women to only have marriage as a best path is asinine on a number of levels.

He probably sees the breakdown of traditional families as a problem. I'll bet he thinks men should be kept out of women's restrooms too.

Perhaps the lack on intellect on that side has led him to overlook divorce. Or is that the totally the womens fault as well?

38% of physicians are women, we need more doctors in this country of all genders. Know what we need less of? Less useless regressives and politicians suggesting bringing back gender discrimination as policy.

Divorce certainly isn't totally women's fault. I'm sure there are irresponsible men too.

He's just doing his part to Make America Great Again. When America was great the goal of most young women was to marry early and become full-time mothers. A running joke prior to the mid-'60s was that even women who did attend college did so to earn their "MRS" degree.

The contradictions in secular philosophy are very interesting. Our domestic birth rate is 1.79 children per woman. That is a how a people dwindle into extinction. It might take a while, but in a purely Darwinian sense that is what losing looks like in the game of natural selection and evolution. But if you have grown to dislike your own country and your own people as a primary feature of your own social and political philosophy, then I suppose the failure to fully generate another generation of your own offspring is something to be celebrated. This might be why it is weird or so 1800s for a woman to actually have a number of children in excess of the 2.1 domestic birth rate required to sustain a nation's population.

Sean Connery once said that women need a good beating now and again. But you don’t hear that anymore.

Some of you whiners are never happy.

the planet doesn’t need more people. We need to sustain. Constant growth is a problem and we shouldn’t sacrifice education simply to make more children. We can do things to support educated people having children while still supporting education especially that connects to research that improves outcomes for humanity. The future of this species is most certainly through education, not through just simple reproduction.

some of you need to find something else to get your dander all riled up. I am the father of 4 girls and also a son. We raised the girls to be strong independent thinkers. It was up to them to decide what they want out of life.

Did you tell them that they need to focus on popping out kids instead of becoming a doctor?
