Do you think 2016 may play into it? When an incoming POTUS, who had his first Admin's legitimacy questioned for 2+ years because of Clinton Campaign Oppo Research BS than spawned a Special Counsel investigation report, maybe wary of another Democratic Admin rushing to put out another Special Counsel report before he assumes office?
whack a mole...more of the same..just keep throwing it against the wall..get a new counsel, get it confirmed by the senate, all before djt takes office..you funny "Cannon concluded"...you hilarious
Chutkan vs Cannon...which one has big cred on and off the bench and which one is a diploma mill politcal operative and the laughing stock of the legal profession? yet you value their opinions equally...qualify the source
should he have to obey the law or should he be allowed to make it up as he goes with a sue me mentality? just curious
OK since you cannot seem to get this, I'm trying to explain to you how the report could be turned in to the AG prior to Jan 20th legally but I will try it again. If AG Garland decides to appoint a new Special Counsel, they do not need to be confirmed by the Senate before they can be the new Special Counsel. The AG Garland can just appoint any Deputy AG that has been confirmed by the Senate to their current post in the DoJ as the new Special Counsel. That allows them to assume the position immediately and it likely could not be challenged by the Trump legal team.
Well the SCOUTS may be taking up the case so we'll see. But seeing as you think that Alito and Thomas are a disgrace, if the SCOUTS were to side with Cannon, I doubt you would accept the ruling as legitimate since Chutkan has "big cred on and off the bench".
Biden would likely have to give everyone in the DoJ that touched this case a pardon. You think that is a good precedent to set, the outgoing POTUS pardoning the leadership of his DoJ in the last days of his Presidency? You want to give Trump a green light to do the same in '28?
Like that wouldn't stop him? So what is the real reason you and other Trump supporters don't want the report coming out? It's not like he will ever face any consequences from it. The general public has the attention span of a gnat. It will be forgotten about. Straw man deflections are not cutting it. What is the actual reason for wanting to bury it?
Are you not paying attention? I've literally been suggesting a way that AG Garland could legally get the report out by Jan 20th in this thread. What I am telling you is that trying to get the report out in a way that would violate the law would be a bad idea and set a bad precedent that will embolden Trump.
which judge has the better resume" and experience by far? you keep focusing on style and ignoring substance
its a chitty reflection of the incoming administration that they would want to prosecute people for doing their job properly
Then why I have spent multiple posts explaining how AG Garland could do it legally? This is what I am trying to explain to the board, the Biden DoJ going to extra-legal efforts to get the report out and then issuing pardons as you suggest is like waving a big, red flag in front of a bull that is about to take over the DoJ in ten days. It will encourage the Trump DoJ to retaliate and prolong the lawfare.
If we were going to live with the felon's choice of AG-- Matt Gaetz, I think virtually any question of good precedent is ludicrous. In that light I would not think for an instant that any semblance of green light is needed for the corrupt soon to be President. I believe Bannon, Flynn, Manafort in the first term has established the felon has no boundaries anyway.
I have no idea what you are talking about when you say I am focusing on style and ignoring substance.
