That’s exactly how defensive pass coverage should be officiated, imho, let them play physical, the offense already has most of the advantages. The ticky tack touch calls are very frustrating.

 

When you are running forward, and throw the ball, you need to take a little off of it. Duh, peewee stuff.

 

As long as it’s called both ways the same, then no objection. What I have a problem with is the Bama-on-offense = “any form of coverage is interfering with the pass,” but Bama-on-defense = “rubbing is racing, son.”

 

Does anyone else think the “High Tide” commercial is hilarious?

I was funny … the first hundred times. It would probably maintain some of its humor if Bama was not now a declining program of yesteryear, collapsing on itself like a dying star. I don’t know what, say, West Virginia’s slogan is, but a similar commercial along those lines involving the Mountaineers would be just as stale by now.

If you can't run straight into the line, then maybe you should change your play-call. And just like that... they run the ball and gain 12 yards.

 

Bad throw there for the missed TD, but NDs defense is getting pushed around a lot. DL is getting moved off the ball pretty easily. PSU with 104 yards already, 55 yards rushing.

ND needs to get the offense going.

 

Wasn’t Riley Leonard a decent passer at Duke? What is with this ND offense? Let him throw the ball man!

 

They most certainly do not. They need to keep their current score for the next three quarters, is what they need to do.
