We’re all living in a snow globe and our alien masters are watching from above testing our reactions to environmental changes. There was a Twilight Zone episode with exactly this premise back in the day.

 

Intriguing premise.

Twilight Zone was fantastic back in the day IMO. Really explored some interesting contradictions, social behavior, interacting with Aliens, or confronting a wide range of human emotions.

Another really interesting aspect is the quality of actors, including Academy Award winning actors, that practiced their craft on that particular show.

Robert Duvall, among so many others.
