I love his intensity. Has a family, could easily take the money now...hope his loyalty to his teammates / UF reaps him future reward.

 

The amount of consequential players returning when they could have entered the free agency portal or draft tells me 2 things:

The staff is doing a good job retaining the players they see as the foundation towards a great season next year

The players choosing to return perhaps not only for the money offered by their current home team, but they see something brewing in the locker room towards what can be a return to greatness

 

I hope he got paid well also

 

Helpful. Be nice to get another run stuffing DT in mix but perhaps Lyons coming back from injury fills that void

In a way, I did. I commited to UF, and was a 4-year scholarship participant at UF (78-82) that stayed true to my commitment and went pro immediately after completing my degree. 9 years in the best league in the world before I decided to hang it up.

Lyons, Banks, and Sapp up front. Nevermind the other guys around them like McCray,Kamran James, D. Robinson, Borreau, Gumbs, Graham, Pup, Chiles, and i haven't even made it to the secondary yet.
