At the time she was born Indians were considered Caucasian (her father was a black Jamaican, her mother was Indian) . If she was born in a Southern state under Jim Crow laws she would have been considered Black. The fact that one of her father's ancestors was a white slaveowner is more or less irrelevant given that African-Americans are by definition black in fact the terms are interchangeable even though the overwhelming majority of black Americans can trace their lineage to a white slaveowner.
She was the first black women to lose a presidential election to a criminal. Must have been a horrible candidate
She was a bad candidate to enough people to lose the election. Still, she performed her duty, followed the law and didn’t whine about it.
This was the first election since 1988 where a Republican won and the Democrats didn't try to overturn the results on the floor of Congress.
You forgot about 2004 when George W. Bush was elected and in the case of the 2000 and 2016 elections a small number of Democrats voted against certifying the elections as a form of protest hardly a serious attempt by the party to overturn the results of those elections in contrast to the 2020 election in which over one-third of the Republicans in the Senate and a majority of Republicans in the House voted against certifying the results of the election.
