I try not to let my emotions make judgements of players since they’re barely adults, but that kid sucks.
Watch the Canes swoop in for this kid. Perfect for Mario and that great culture he has down there.....
Wouldn't be surprising, they need a QB and are salty the Wash St kid spurned them for Oklahoma. Boy would that make the game at Miami in September even more juicy.
And got up and celebrated like he caught the winning pass in the Super Bowl. He must not know that the people who cut him from the Falcons are no longer there.
Brings back memories...when Dupree actually showed up and played at OU he was as good as any back I ever saw, and that includes Hershel.
I'm not laughing quite yet. The lawsuit is still out there and there was a hearing back on the 18th that I can't find anything of what was decided. It was to discuss among other things dismissal of the lawsuit. So do it get dismissed?
If we are to be honest him not coming to UF worked out exceptionally for the team. If he did stay and performed marginally decent, it would have thrown a wrench into DJ's future playing time. Mertz became the unknown contingency and worked out as a bridge, and even more as a mentor to DJ. Everything worked out positively for Florida except for the negative press (which is softening by the day as Mr. Rashada continues his portal tour of schools) and lawsuit (which likely will go away). DJ is here, Florida is ascending, and Mr. Rashada is looking for anyone who wants him with his red flags on the record already.
Kirby Smart encouraged Rashada to file the lawsuit. It will likely be his final downfall in football. What a waste of his efforts as a player. I wouldn't let this cancer on any team of mine to even carry a clipboard.
