Coach Walton has said that Taylor is the most dimensional (varied high skills) player he has had since Amanda Lorenz. That’s high praise.
That's why I spend a ton of time trying to follow our kids in travel before they arrive on campus. I can't figure out why everybody would not want to learn as much as possible about each future Gator. You already know them before they arrive. With the Batbusters, it is easy because they broadcast every game they play. It is hit or miss for the others...have to hope they appear in the rare tournament that is streaming all of the tournament games. As for Taylor, she caught my eye when she was two years younger on the main 18U team. She player sporadically but was impressive to the point I wondered "who in the heck is this"? The next year, when she was a fixture, she had as good a season as I have ever seen and I was transfixed. Had no idea she wanted to be a Gator but when she committed that fall I about jumped out of my skin. Her next and last year was even better. I have never before seen a player so consistently excellent over such a long period of time. That's why I highlighted her. I knew she was special. I don't think she has ever had a slump. But she will. Everyone does. Will be interesting to see how she handles adversity because I don't think she has ever had to do so before. Tim is usually very discrete about kids who have never proven themselves until they do. The way he talks about Taylor surprises me because that is very unlike him.
I love this jersey countdown but it’s almost like being back in school staring at the clock waiting for the bell to ring lol!
I enjoy doing it. I almost didn’t do it this year, but y’all convinced me to make this a tradition. I’m going to try and use as many of this year’s lineup as I can. I need a really good picture of Gabi and Kylie. The others I think I have covered.

Some will only be on ESPN+, which you have to pay for and I don't get. Plus the 5 game West Coast tournament is usually on shown on FloSoftball, a pay site. And then you have the 2 tournaments that the Gators host that are not televised or streamed because of UF priorities which put softball as the odd man out. It happens every year and I hate it as well. I generally listen to the audio broadcast.
Unless we have brought our broadcast facility into the current century, you are correct we won't get any tv of the two local February tournaments. We aren't playing California this year. Going to be in Arizona. There is a chance those games might be streamed. I don't know ASU's history on streaming their tournaments. You will never see a SEC game, home or away, on ESPN+. All games not on a main ESPN channel or the main SEC channel will be on SEC+. Some away games at non-SEC teams could be on ESPN+. The USF game will be one of them.
I agree with all of that. I knew that our out West trip this year will be to Arizona and the Sun Devil Classic wesbite doesn't show if or how any of the games might be televised - yet. Just assumed the FloSoftball connection. Would be nice tobe able to watch at least a couple of thos games.
