During the election cycle, the Republican candidate that won his primary dropped out immediately after winning and said that they didn't have money to continue. This left just Worrell vs Bain. The GOP runner up in the primary sued Desantis and Bain saying that there was corruption with the primary to ensure that Bain had the best chance of winning. Plus the person that screwed up that whole situation was an Orange County deputy when the shooter was arrested on a previous charge. He should’ve been in jail but OCSO messed up the evidence.
