I think winning 3 in a row to finish the regular season had a lot to do with it too. Way back before the season started and we were all jacked about our recruiting, many of the recruits said they wanted to see how our season played out before committing to UF. The 1st half of the season sent them running - the 2nd half brought many of them back
If it wasn't for @bobbybaker86, you wouldn't know this is a twitter update thread. Thanks. I'm learning to scan past all the other blah, blah, blah, he said, she said, back and forth, mumbo-jumbo, relentless and senseless, yo mamma, one up you, once more with feelings, here we go again, I won't back down, my opinion matters more than yours, yadda-yadda. Oh wait, this is social media. Okay back at it everyone.
I only have a high 3* shower as i cant afford the ones i build for customers either. First off, i dont have the 1000 sqt/ft bathroom to build it in.
Winning im sure makes the payment easier to get done. Boosters loosen the wallets, kids want to win, but for the right price, the top class in the nation will sign with A&M. Im sure at the time, Satan could have gotten those signatures at a slight discount. The first half of tge season also almost got napier fired and his nil money went to zero.
The facilities and all that were the schools' fault but not being allowed to cheat the same way our rivals were was something we really couldnt do anything about. If our players were all driving cars beyond their means, we would have gotten sanctioned.
Yep. Would've been nice to see how things turned out if we were allowed to compete on a level playing field for the last 70 years or so.
Exactly, Sunseri was who i was thinking of and Brewster had the same story. The 13 mil flipped Rashada, not some sweet talking.
Id be willing to bet that that handful of players that flipped got better financial offers. Im sure some just go to winning teams but it would be interesting to see what we were paying and what other teams ended up paying. Id love yo see what DJ is getting paid if Rashada was even considered at that much money.
I like the type of players napier is getting. The ones making problems on social media are the ones no longer gators. searcy is tge only one i can think of that didnt burn bridges with teamates, coaches, and fans.
Lsu got caught paying players from a children's charity and no problem. Mullen talks to a kid at an airport and we are in trouble.
No argument about that. It's just that some can't get the balanced team they need with the bags. That is a recruiter problem, not a bags problem. Muschamp was loaded with 5 and high 4 star defenders.
It was definitely the spigut turning back on, but you have to have those relationships to get back in with the right recruits. Wilson, Woods, Jackson, Stubbs, Dice, Jones, Hayward, Louis were the right recruits in spades. Kudos to the coaches for being in position to get it done.
