    • Congratulations to @novagator, who not only won the championship but also set a Picks Panel record with 17556 points! He went an amazing 31-10 (75.6%) on his picks, which explains why he won.
    • I will post about the 2025 Picks Panel on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. PLEASE do not get yourselves in a twist prior to that ("where's Realty / OMG why hasn't he posted / what will we do"). My cell number is just a click away to everybody on this board if you are really concerned...

    Congrats!

    It's unfortunate that I scored over 16k points and still lost, lol. Last year I went out in week 1, so I'm not too sad about year 2 other than not winning outright. Year 3 will be my year... book it!

    Yeah. I think I saw it was around 9k or so, if I remember right. Or maybe 12k. It was posted in one of last couple "Week" threads.

    Would love to have an option to pick out game of the week in addition too the pre-selected games. Guess it would be too much work with having agreed upon point spreads though.

    You are always free to make suggestions for games you would like to see on the schedule, but you would have to do it early in the week by DM before I publish the weekly game thread. Once I publish the schedule it is set in stone, unless there is a cancellation or postponement for weather or whatever reason.

    I may not always use your suggestion, of course ;) If there are ten SEC games that have published point spreads on the day I post the thread, those will always take precedence. After that, I like to use games that involve two teams ranked in the Top 25. After that, if there is still room, then I would be open to suggestions...

    It would make absolutely no difference what amount of points we started with, as long as everybody started with the same points. More points would mean more people making higher bets. It would not make a bit of difference on how long people stayed in. Inflation is real even in imaginary sports games...

    I was not directing that post towards to you, because you already said no to that idea two years ago, my friend. IOW, I was making a point about how hard it is to suggest changes that you might actually consider. ;)

    My point and suggestion is reaffirmed.
