Final 69-79 tide Gators shot 46% compared to bama's 51% Gator were 50% shooting from 3, bama 32% 35 rebounds, bama 32 15 turnovers to their 10 Not the ending we wanted .but the ladies kept fighting...
got home from dinner and watched the last part of the game, we played with heart. I feel for Kyle, she just does not get the calls she should have. Reynolds lost all confidence in her offense in the last part of the game. We get them at home later in year, see what happens there. Green from Bama was the catalyst for there win tonight
Our coach is getting better players in, but the in-game results don't seem to be getting better. I like her and want her to succeed, but not seeing it so far.
I expected us to be more competitive against the better teams this season. Still waiting. I know the influx of talent is very young, but still...
Looking at the box score, we did quite alright on the road at #19. After Bama got a 20 point lead early, we held our own. Interestingly, O'Neal has gone from starter to just getting 6 minutes.
She is about 15 lbs light right now, and growing..she was about 6'3 when she signed, she is close to 6'5 now...we knew both her and Kitts were going to take a year or two..They will be much better next year. O'neal played well in her time on the floor against UGA. I hope we get a experienced big in the portal this year..take some pressure off of those two and the 2 new freshman..We will be a very long team next year...Gasset also has played a lot better this year then at Louisville so that has cut into Oneals minutes too
Thanks, I was just about to ask your opinion on O'Neal. Makes sense. I really like how Gasset moves on the floor, I'd be thrilled for her to have a bit of a breakthrough this year.
she is listed at 6"2" but her she plays so much bigger..long long arms and quick. Her sister is very good also, hope it helps us get her from HS ranks
