As for Babbit, the question still is, if unimpeded, did Babbit and persons with her represent a real threat to the politicians behind that door? Hard to argue Babbitt and group just wanted tea and crumpets with their representatives.

Physical force to protect the Senators was justified. Babbitt and those with her represented a serious threat. Babbitt was warned to back off, and when she didn't, police rightfully acted.

Trumpies always bring up BLM protests as if to justify the fact that they voted for a traitor who incited an attack on the Capitol, who happily watched while 100s of cops were beaten.
