    6'3"/205 - What's not to like?

    Looks like a one-year deal:

    J.Michael Sturdivant - Football - UCLA

Welcome aboard J. Michael! It's Great to be a Florida Gator!

Does this affect the Texas WR in the portal who was planning a UF visit? I can't imagine a one-year deal running anyone off who wants a multi-year deal.

Whether badger or Sturtevant was injured, has nothing to do with their talent just their numbers

We don't have anybody like that on our roster. He should start.

He wasn't making those catches against Sister Theresa's School of the blind; that was USC.

    Huge pickup.

Hope he is the absolute difference maker it appears he could be. Excited to think about Lagway, Sturdivant, Wilson & Wilson and others working this off season and making a special connection.

We are not "elite" everywhere but we are going to have some real potential next season. RB and WR are really talented. Keep DJ healthy and who knows.

Agreed (UF is not elite) everywhere. Still think it is critical UF bolster the defensive line and add a couple of depth pieces to the offensive line.

I do think CBN could make an argument this year, year four (could) be his most "talented" group, provided he pulls off a few more Portal "wins".

"Talented Group" is subjective of course, when comparing rosters with the rest of the SEC. As far as I can make out, "talent wise", UF should be somewhere in the middle, leaning toward "upper middle" status, when comparing talent "status" to the rest of the SEC.

The key of course, is what a staff can do with the 'talent".

My particular concerns are - Does Ron Roberts stay with UF as the defensive coordinator, now that Austin has left?
My concern here is Napier finally found some defensive answers in 24, I hope some continuity remains for the 25 team.

Regarding the offensive line, I am overjoyed that the bulk of this unit is coming back. Barring injury, the Gators should have a good unit to work with.

Regarding the defensive line, I know UF has some kids returning from injury. Thats good news. UF also has developed some players,
hopefully those kids will be ready to contribute. I'm intrigued by Michai Boireau. I would think he is a "natural" to succeed Watson.

Elite can be different depending on who you ask. To me, it means the final four teams in the playoff. It's possible for us to get that far next year but im leaning toward playoffs and winning a first round game as my expectations next year. Theres a ton of improvement needed for that to happen.

But there is no better law firm name than that provided by the old Car Talk Show: attorneys High, Louis and Dewey of the firm Dewey, Cheatum and Howe.
