It was named Denali long before a gold prospector decided he wanted to call it McKinley who was President elect at the time. It was named Denali long before McKinley or even his great, great, great grandparents were born.

It was named Denali long before McKinley visited. Oh wait, he never made it to the mountain or even Alaska and has zero ties to the state.

These places had names before Europeans showed up. Ditch the "new" names and go back to the original names.
    It's not whitney, it's toomangoyah. E.g.

Trump is still fixated on acquiring Greenland. This time around, our orange clown is getting closer to suggesting that the U.S. "take" Greenland. Just because Greenland is not for sale is no reason to be discouraged. Trump declares that U.S. ownership of Greenland is an "absolute necessity". Maybe Trump will coordinate with Putin to invade Greenland. That should lower the price.

I spent a night atop toomangoyah. Awesome - the shadow it cast at sunset stretched for hundreds of miles and then into the sky where the ground and the sky merged.
I will have to practice the pronunciation though as it does not flow easily.

Denali is just so much easier...even Hakeakala..sunrise..maybe that could be Mt Trump. Right in Obama back yard? Or is he on Oahu? Can rename diamond head after gaetz.

This might help explain this seeming out of left field issue with Panama. It seems DJT has a personal issues with the country.

Trump Ocean Club (Panama) management team was evicted as (essentially) squatters and there were physical altercations with his management/security staff and representatives of the actual owners of the property. Trump's team had been fired the year before, but refused to recognize the firing as valid. A judge had to physically go to the building with armed police to help end a 12 day stand off. His staff finally vacated the premises and the Trump name was unceremoniously pried off the building. (Note: the building bore his name, but he did not own the property.) There were allegations of money laundering and tax fraud with respect to improperly reporting employee's wages. Trump is prohibited from having business property in Panama.

well not exactly...come to think of it, all the good old days they seem to prefer at the rich paying 70% - 90% and yet they still stayed rich and the country was funded...hmmmm...maybe for aa different thread..would love to see Musks head explode if MAGA demanded 70% tax rates on billionaires
