He's trying to pretend like Trump is a liberal. Yes, Trump is seemingly liberal on a couple of issues, but liberals don't support tax cuts for billionaires, gutting environmental regulations and consumer protection regulations, mass deportations, ending Roe v Wade, drill baby drill over green energy, calling global warming a hoax, and a host of other issues. Even on issues like labor unions, Trump isn't liberal. It's just lip service.

so here is a direct quote from your post- maybe you can explain it to me

The United States federal budgetfor fiscal year 2023 ran from October 1, 2022, to September 30, 2023. The government was initially funded through a series of three temporary continuing resolutions. The final funding package was passed as an omnibus spending bill, the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2023.

GOPers should be careful about throwing stones and glass houses. Seems a Republican member of Congress has been missing since July. Someone found her in a dementia care home.

Sure, there were 3 CRs last year that “kicked the can down the road” and final budget was then passed to fund the government through 30 sept.

you want to call it a budget go ahead but everything I read says the final bill was an omnibus bill that funded the guvment but that is not a budget- it was a spending bill.

  12. When "bipartisan" means 5 or 6 token rino fake GOPers like Romney or Cheney went along with EVERY liberal to pass bad legislation, yes indeed, we WILL tank it. You better believe it. Elections have consequences and WE conservatives won this one. There will be changes. Deal with it.

  13. If they were hurting as bad as you imply, they would never have made it to Congress in the first place. You don't win elections with pocket change.

Now I see your confusion. The budget is what the president submits. They always do that. It’s kind of a framework for their priorities. Congress then allocates the money based on that framework. They don’t have to abide by it which is why it is at times difficult to pass. Anyways, it’s that allocation that funds the government. It is this piece that folks refer to as “the budget”.

Not the point but you know that. This didn’t happen all of a sudden either. Reminds of another Republican, Ronald Reagan.

What was the point then. In the post I responded to you made no mention or Reagan, only that congresswoman

“If they don’t lock-step with Trump, they’re fake.”

This stuff gets so, so old.

I’ll say to you what I said to another cranky far-right wing poster: stop treating politicos like some binary “win all” game. The entire purpose of our system is intended to promote compromise. The bill was authorized by Sinema and Lankford, neither of which are “leftists” by any imagination.

All due respect sir, but grow up.
