Sir, both Elon Musk and Melania Trump violated the terms of their original visa to stay here while working. Do you support deporting both of them?

If not, why? Might it be because they are white?

Ok, NOW we're getting somewhere. Time to stock up on Tiki torches?

    1. Illegal immigration is – how do I put this delicately so as not to offend – illegal. So, God is against it. "Anyone who rebels against authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and they will be punished" (Romans 13:2 NLT).As soon as someone conflates illegal and legal immigration, quit listening. They're dishonest and using propaganda to make an argument. Or they have no moral compass that differentiates between "illegal" and "legal."
Top 10 Ways the Bible Opposes Illegal Immigration
When someone conflates illegal and legal immigration, quit listening. They're dishonest and using propaganda to make an argument. Or they have no moral compass that differentiates between "illegal" and "legal."

When a person enters the U.S. illegally, he is cheating every person waiting patiently for their turn to come in legally.

Here's what you get with illegal immigration:
    • Forging of official government documents – fake IDs, Social Security cards, driver's licenses. A fake ID is a lie. Oh, and a felony.
    • Identity theft. Many illegal aliens buy stolen Social Security cards and use them. Identity theft is a nightmare. And a felony.
    • Private property destruction. Illegal aliens entering over the southern border just run right through property owned by someone (one rancher said he's had half a million people cross his land, leaving all kinds of debris). Imagine someone crossing your backyard in the middle of the night on a regular basis and leaving soda cans, diapers, toilet paper. You'd call the police!
    • Slavery. Sex trafficking is a huge cartel business that is thriving in part through illegal immigration.
    • Violence and murder: July 1, 2015, Kate Steinle.
    • Death. People who try to enter the country illegally die all ... the ... time. Stories like this are not uncommon: "19 found dead in trailer."

Anytime a people say, "Some of our laws don't really matter," it leads to a culture of lawlessness. If I can personally decide that some laws don't matter, who are you to tell me which ones do?

    1. Arguing FOR illegal immigration or amnesty may be indicative of these attitudes:
      • An attitude of Entitlement: I deserve to be a law unto myself. Since I broke this law, I should get to demand you make me legal.
      • An attitude of Arrogance: This law only applies to others. Who are waiting in line. And I don't do lines.
      • An attitude of Selfishness: I'm not going to wait my turn! Who cares if it costs someone else? Live and let die, baby.

Why Christians should pray for a secure border

As long as our border remains open, there will be no real peace in America. If we don’t have a secure border, we can hardly call ourselves a sovereign nation. No border, no nation. This is an existential crisis.

Border cities and states have been overrun by the massive influx of illegal aliens. And along with this, comes rising crime, an increase in human trafficking, cartel violence, drug trafficking, and a breakdown in cultural and societal cohesion.

Numerous studies and reports highlight the correlation between illegal immigration and increased crime levels in certain areas. According to the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), there is evidence of a higher crime rate among illegal immigrants, contributing to safety concerns for American citizens.

Drug trafficking is a major concern in the context of illegal immigration and open borders. The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) reports that Mexican drug cartels are responsible for a significant portion of the illegal drugs smuggled into the United States. These cartels often exploit illegal immigrants as drug mules, taking advantage of their desperation to enter the country. This poses a significant threat to the peace and security of the United States. The porous border allows for the influx of drugs, leading to a surge in addiction rates and related social issues. By praying for a closed border, Christians seek to address the root cause of this problem and mitigate the impact on individuals and communities.

    Ya don't say...

....a New York jury found [Trump] guilty of all 34 charges in a scheme to illegally influence the 2016 election through a hush money payment to a porn actor who said the two had sex.

Ah. The classic conservative “I’m rubber, you’re glue” defense of no substance or apparent intelligence.

The entire argument surrounding massively harsh actions toward migrants centers on:
    • They’re violent.
    • Calling them scum
    • Calling them “enemies from within.”
    • They’re insane
    • They’re subhuman.
    • They act in some way that is culturally horrifying, like eating pet.
My man, you need to look in the political mirror. Your side is making these remarks. Your side is also citing Great Replacement Theory, which is literally “brown people replacing white Americans.”

“NUH UH YOU ARE” isn’t a defense against this.

Illegal immigrants commit less crimes than American citizens, per capita. Also: you’re ignoring the part about laws being against God’s word, which involves not being abjectly cruel to migrants.

Of course, you don’t care. Your entire shtick is based on fear, hate, and willful ignorance.

“I have no evidence of it, in the US, but I’m not going to admit that false claims about Haitians led to violent threats from MAGA, so who cares?”

    So very Christian. Most Christian.

Weren’t you just on about the importance of the law? Pretty sure paying hush money to engage in election interference is illegal, or did I forget that your Lord and Savior Donald Trump is incapable of wrong? :D

Don't you see by now, though? They don't have to speak or respect the truth. They don't even have to acknowledge their own obvious hypocrisy when they tell us about the importance of the law, then just chuckle at the fact that they cast a vote to elect as POTUS an adjudicated criminal and sexual assaulter.

They are not here for rational discourse or debate - how can they be when all they have to say about their flagrant hypocrisy is "lol, sure" ?

The real problem here, though, is not the medium-level (at best) thinkers, who don't learn facts, and apparently cannot recognize such obvious hypocrisy, or that they've broken our social compact requiring efforts at honesty.

The real problem is all the people capable of thought who sit by and watch this without a word of condemnation.....who also voted for Trump, criminality and lying.....despite being aware of all this. The real problem is the people capable of observation and thought who decided that they cared less about our country than they did the price of eggs, or fake policies lied about by a criminal. Because those people know better.

    Jury found otherwise, champ.

I don’t deify political figures. Yet again, the extent of your intellect is the “I’m rubber, you’re glue” philosophy.

I'm a piece of work? Why? Because I pointed out a huge flaw in your logic that showed you and your side to be racist? Not sorry.

Again, the Haitians in Ohio are here on a legal Visa. As far as we know, they haven't broken any laws. And if they did, the local police should handle it. So, according to you, there should be zero animosity towards these immigrants! But obviously that is not the case. Why is that?

It's because of their skin color. A pet goes missing and one of the locals blames the dark skinned immigrants claiming they captured and ate the animal. Trump then goes on national TV, in front of tens of millions, and makes the same claim. Think this would have happened if the immigrants were white people from Scandinavian countries? No. So I ask again, why the animosity towards the Haitians? Did they come here illegally? No. Did they break local laws? No. So please explain why all the hate directed towards this group?

You won't explain it. You'll get angry and defensive again. You truly believe you aren't racist, and when someone calls you one, you get angry and defensive. I understand. I've been there. But this time, maybe try something different? A little introspection. Ask yourself why Trump would believe and repeat the lie the Haitians were eating pets? Why were so many, yourself included, so quick to defend Trump, despite zero evidence any pet was being devoured? And please, don't make the claim it's all based on the criminal status of the immigrants; because again, the Haitians are here legally.

As for those who did commit the misdemeanor of coming in or overstaying a Visa, and that's the only crime they have committed while in the US, I'll ask again, what's the justification of following the law if if the results is disastrous for all of us? Why do we want to spend billions of taxpayer money to split families apart, hurt thousands of businesses, cause trillions of GDP loss, while causing a spike in inflation? These undocumented immigrants represent 5% of our workforce. What's Trump's plan to replace this labor? Does he have one? Does he even have a concept of a plan?

If you can't justify enforcing the letter the law, then I'll paraphrase someone who was arrested 29 times himself, and now has a national holiday in his honor, Martin Luther King Jr. When a law is unjust, it's our duty not to follow it.

They just don’t care because they take pleasure in the suffering of people they hate or fear. It’s as simple as that. I thought we, as a country, were better than that, but that’s been proven otherwise.

It didn’t matter that Trump used exactly the same language that the NSDAP used on Jews, liberals, and communists. It doesn’t matter that we’re today seeing the same fall that Weimar experienced.

Oh. I forgot. I’m not supposed to mentioned the N-word and make MAGA look themselves in a mirror. Oh well.

The first thing that Hitler did when he took power wasn’t “take away guns.” He went after the German press. He jailed political opponents. He put undesirables into ghettos, camps, or outright eliminated them. Trump has made it clear that he plans to do that here.

Fascism also involves the marriage of big business with the state. Seeing DOGE run by nepo babies that are being rewarded with fat government contracts and key political roles given to corporate billionaires is exactly what happened in the late ‘30’s.

Callbacks to Great Replacement Theory. Enemy within. Press being the enemy of the people. People not like you are “animals.” Extreme nationalism tied to a cult of personality. The drunken joy MAGA is taking in seeing their perceived enemies (read: fellow citizens and even freaking family) suffer is palpable.

Did we mention how the initial pogroms were carried out? Oh yes, [enemy] is communist/anarchist/terrorist.

These parallels would be fascinating if it wasn’t happening to us in real time. God help us all.
