He’s good but every crazy shot he took in 2nd half rolled in. If Martin wasn’t covering him, he should have been.

 

We needed one of these games. Get a real challenge down the stretch… how do you respond. This experience will go a long way when we start against a loaded conference schedule.

Unbeeeelievable game tonight. Both teams played some good basketball. There wasn’t one time I ever thought that someone should not be in the game. Everyone I thought did some very positive things while on the floor.

Of course our starters did what they were supposed to do but guys off the bench did just as much. Just positive contributions all around. I know Clayton had a tough game but we t didn’t matter. Everyone stepped up their game tonight. Confidence oozes. This team is elite.

 

and the chick announcer said it was a good separation move, she loves unc ( maybe it’s their hair)

UNC is 6-5 but played top teams to the wire. They've got exceptional athletes and it looked like they started to figure out how to play tonight.

 

tbh, as far as the win goes, I'm as happy to give UNC a glimmer of hope and close out with an 8-0 run as I would be with a blowout.

the good thing is that the two who didn't have the best games have the most confidence - so they'll definitely bounce back after this game. Great to see Will knock down some 3s

 

If someone told me that Martin and Clayton would go 3-19 from three before the game, I would have said we had no chance. It is a tesatament to the fortitude of this program. So many people stepped up, and Martin and Clayton made the plays they had to make.

I don't think we have ever had a more passionately humble team at Florida.

 

Clayton and Martin combined for 9-32, 3-19 from 3. Our guards came through, it just wasn't who we thought.

Would never guess we'd hit 90 with the two of them struggling. Our bench slightly outscored theirs.

 

I thought Martin showed some leadership to get the Gators back late with some key plays...he did not shrink in the moment.

 

What a win!!! Virtual road game against a team that could have won at Kansas and should have beatj Michigan State. People will point to their record, but clearly not a “bad” team, just tough schedule.

 

But TG has to make sure these guys know. Get back and get out of the way ! That is on TG
