I believe, fact check me if you disagree, that most if not all of the steel/iron was purchased with appropriations during the first Trump administration but not delivered in time to be erected before Pres. Biden took office. This seems like a complete slap in the face to Trump and his supporters who'd like to see the wall completed in the most vulnerable areas.

 

The RINOs would not fund it, so he did what the Dems do all the time. He reallocated funds... from the military.

I was going to say something similar. The remains of sections of the wall that are being auctioned by the Biden Administration are most likely scrap from sections of the wall that have failed and are probably unusable for the construction of new wall. It's very unlikely that it's part of a nefarious scheme to prevent Trump for resuming construction of the wall.
