AI gets a lot of bad press but here is a decent story. AI grannies fool phone scammers into thinking they are real grannies keeping them on the phone for 40+ minutes.

Why can I see AI grannies talking to AI scammers in a loop until they join forces to take over the world? I am pitching to Netflix.

British mobile phone company O2 has unveiled a new creation, Daisy, a chit-chat and kitty-cat loving artificial intelligence "granny" who talks to scammers to keep them away from real people.

"Hello, scammers. I'm your worst nightmare," Daisy says by way of introduction to would-be ne'er-do-wells.

That’s great, I watched some YouTube videos of a guy that messes with scammers like a pro, he even gives them access to his computer screen and has fake apps on his computer to make it appear he is transferring money or sending gift cards, or whatever the scammer is asking for … he kept one on the phone for 8 hours, by playing dumb and repeatedly messing up what he was being asked to do. At the end, after he “drove to the Walmart hours away” to get the gift cards the scammer wanted and the guy stayed on the line, he “accidentally” entered the cards into his own account while the scammer watched and was screaming “stop! Stop!”… it was a pretty funny pay off.

Just to name a few of those types of YouTube channels that reverse hack scammers, access their call center cameras, delete files, attack their call centers with auto inbound call attacks and also prevent scams from happening. Educational and entertaining. I've been hooked on them for a while.
