By: Nick Marcinko -- December 9, 2024 Florida is focused on player retention above everything else right now. The Gators have several key players with one year of eligibility remaining that they believe will be crucial to their success next season. One of those players is defensive lineman Caleb Banks, who announced his plans to return for the 2025 season on Monday afternoon. What Caleb Banks’ return means for the Gators | GatorCountry.com
This is vial to keep this team on the right track, too often teams lose key players to both graduation and to the portal, leaving them scrambling to find talented replacements. Unfortunately, the talent alone is not enough… it seems we never used to put enough value on teamwork, cohesiveness that players like Caleb Banks brings to the Gators along with his talent. Talent alone is not enough... he is a team player. That makes him almost priceless to this next year's football team. Now... who else do we try to keep?
Lol... dang it. I hope they both stay, along with all the talented underclassman that played this season.
