So, just when you think we can't get a worse schedule than the reciprocal one of last year, we get the 2025 games all shuffled and play Kentucky and Tennessee at the end of the year? It's amazing how much BS the SEC schedulers try to inflict on the Gators' football team.

But you know what... IT DOES NOT MATTER. It's great to play good teams, only I wish we had more great homes games earlier in the season. Waiting to the end of the year to beat Kentucky and Tennessee is weird.

Yea Tennessee used to be the third Saturday in September so it’s weird. I don’t care though…we gotta show up and win these games. It’s good seeing them youngans respecting the players that have come before them.

Love this part, “Game times will be available at a later date.” Is there any doubt the L$U game will be at night, again.

Should start out 2-0. After that it's anybody's guess.
Hopefully, Miami doesn't come up with another cam ward in the portal.

    Interesting reshuffle:

    2024
    Miami
    Samford
    Texas A&M
    @ Miss St
    UCF
    @ Tennessee
    Kentucky
    Georgia
    @ Texas
    LSU
    Ole Miss
    @ f$u

    2025
    Long Island
    USF
    @ LSU
    @ Miami
    Texas
    @ Texas A&M
    Miss St
    Georgia
    @ Kentucky
    @ Ole Miss
    Tennessee
    f$u

    Open with 2 home games.
    Close with 2 home games.
Only 2 home games in between.
Miami game dropping to 4 gives their new QB time to season.
    Tennessee game could be huge.
Games 3-6 will define season, imho.

LSU in September and Tennessee in November just feels weird, but overall, better IMO. The competition seems a little more scattered.

BUT, when you pull up their schedule for the week before ours …it feels like another sec screw job.

An away game 3 at LSU, ole miss or Tamu was the way to screw Florida. Otherwise we'd have a very good chance of hitting Jax without a loss.

    Believe the conspiracy.

These schedules are insane...I'm sorry but if you finish with 3 losses and that schedule you should be in the playoffs.

Ole Miss on 11/14 and Tennessee on 11/21 are Friday games?
    Am I reading that right?

No reason we shouldn't win every game.

Ok - that makes more sense. Not a terrible schedule. We can sure use the bye weeks before Texas and UGA.

Texas gets a bye week then plays Samford before playing florida. They do play Ohio state and Georgia but the rest of their sec slate is a joke the way it sets up compared to our murderers row again.

I actually like the schedule. With that many tough teams, there's no way to really shuffle it to get some sort of advantage. We have bye before Texas and UGA which I like as we'll need to win at least ONE of those. The only thing I would change would be swapping out Miss. St. and Tennessee... Would like to have more of a cupcake before FSU. No big deal though... we beat Ole' Miss the week before we beat FSU on the road this year, so we'll just have to beat UT the week before stomping the noles at Home next year...

We almost certainly will be, Unless one of those losses is LIU or USF.

So, breaking it down (way to early, of course). My initial thoughts on next season in order to get to 9-3:

    Wins (6-0)
    Long Island
    USF
    Miss St
    @ Kentucky
    f$u
    Tennessee

Tennessee is the biggest chance at a loss there, but I'm assuming we are the same team as the end of the season, if not better. We will pay them back at home next year...

    Win Half (3-3)
    @ LSU
    @ Miami
    Texas
    @ Texas A&M
    Georgia
    @ Ole Miss

Only one home game for this group. Going 3-3 will be a challenge, but doable.

Some of this might change a bit, depending on all of the portal shenanigans that are most undoubtedly going to happen.

The second half of Oklahomas schedule is nuts. I would say that due to FSU being so terrible is tougher than our stretch ended up being and is probably the hardest 7 game stretch in college football history.

The road game vs LSU is worrisome given CBN's poor starts.
I wish we had a road game vs an easier team or even the home game vs Miss State to "warm up" for it.
I am certainly a CBN fan and supporter but I'm not blind to his weaknesses, and off season prep is one of his worst attributes.

Doing well in that game would be about the best encouragement I can think of...
